Everything about Ndlovu is just truly Amazing. It's serenity. Sophia is such a lovely person. Very welcoming. It's definitely giving I want to go back soon vibes. But this is one of the most amazing places I've ever stayed at. You fall inlove with Ndlovu. There is so much to offer. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Very quiet and tranquil location with a beautiful view of the Sundays River. It was the perfect location for us to get away from the "hustle and bustle" and just recharge our batteries. Sophia the host was very warm and welcoming.

We had a really long drive because of road works and stop and gos in the area which caught us off guard, I think given how long it took us to get there for only a two night stay, and that check in only starts from 2pm, the strictness and non-negotiability of the 10am check - out seemed unreasonable.

The lodge was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and the quality of food is great!

My partner loved the place from the moment we pulled up in the reception area. It came with so much peace. We loved everything about the house, the peace that surrounded the place. Definitely coming back in summer. Such a cosy place for winter as well. Luc is a great host, we struggled with the gas heater and he came to fix in the evening. 10/10 from us.

We had to wait for a long time for the hot tub to heat up, if the staff can preheat the hot tub for guests. The road is dark and gravel but not too bad.

Very beautiful I loved that we had a private hot tub on the patio and a fire place, the room was stunning warm and cozy and the bed was so comfortable.

The setting was great- perfect getaway to relax. Sophia and her staff very helpful and friendly. Added bonus- heat and eat dinners available when one doesn’t feel like cooking (even when it’s self catering).

What a lovely place to stay and relax! We had two wonderful evenings here after visiting the Addo Elephant Park (about 45 minutes by car when there are no roadworks ;) ). The option of having frozen dinners to warm up in the air fryer was great and the food delicious. We very much enjoyed our time in the little cottage and can very much recommend staying here. Thank you for the great stay!

Fewer reeds in the river in front of the lawn would be nice. It's a very nice fishing spot but the reeds made it difficult to get the fish out.

We had a really great time at the lodge. The hosts were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. A special highlight was the canoe we were allowed to use – paddling was such a nice experience. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. We'd definitely come back again!

Beautiful, peaceful spot with a real homely feel. We loved the privacy, our own pool, and direct access to the river, perfect for unwinding. The host was great, friendly and always checked in to see if we needed anything. Just note that roadworks on the R335 are quite heavy at the moment, so plan ahead. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled stay.

Off the beaten path but so so worth it. The setting is magical, the staff is kind and welcoming. read the whole listing- this might not be your cup of tea. But we were well prepared for the adventure and were rewarded with pure magic. Do their game tour- it was the best we had in all South Africa! 🇿🇦

Beautiful spacious rooms in a wonderful setting. Private and quiet. Sophia was the perfect host. Situated alongside a river and amongst the citrus farms. The lodge was further from Addo Elephant Park than I thought but we went on a full day game driver with Francois and that was perfect.
