The waterfall is very far and deep in the forest and they do not send any of their staffs to accompany their guest. So if want to see the waterfall you're going there at your own risk.

Their rooms were clean and well organized and the staffs were very kind and understanding.

The food was nice, supper and breakfast. And the staff made us feel at home.

Magoebaskloof Hotel is set in one of the most breathtaking locations – the views of the valley are absolutely incredible and really make the stay special. The staff were truly exceptional too – warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. That said, the rooms are a bit tired and could be cleaner. The bathrooms are quite dated and would really benefit from a revamp. Small touches – like matching taps, a TV that’s properly aligned, and milk for coffee that isn’t rock solid – would go a long way in improving the overall experience. The restaurant menu is quite limited, especially if you're vegetarian or gluten-free. The breakfast buffet has a good spread, but it’s pricey, and unfortunately, there’s no alternative breakfast option. For someone who is gluten-free, paying full price for just fruit and grated cheese doesn’t feel great value. All in all, the views and the staff make it a memorable stay, but with a few upgrades and more inclusive food options, it could be truly fantastic.

The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited. The pressure on the shower was a bit too weak. I had no channels on the TV.

The location was excellent, close to Polokwane and Tzaneen - so good base for business meetings. The setting is stunning and the staff were excellent. The rooms are very comfortable

The reception was a mess when I arrived, the IT system was not working. Internet was bad, when there was internet. Old hotel in need of repairs and renovation. No sound isolation between rooms. Could hear everything on the other rooms. Too much noise since 05.00 AM. Long time waiting for dinner even if there was not much people in the restaurant.

Breakfast was regular. Very good location and sublime view to the mountains. Good pool and good parking.
