The room had water damage along the walls. The room only had one power outlet to charge mobile devices and no adapters. Reception has a leak in the roof with water dripping on the receptionists' heads. Water coming out of the pipes/taps was brown and not drinkable. The place needs a bit of maintenance.

The decor in the room, the food in the breakfast hall as well as the food delivered to our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They walked through heavy rain to bring our bags to our room as well as to bring us our food, which we appreciated very much.

No wifi on arrival. Walking from room to reception and breakfast in the cold. The hotel has a poor layout with hotel rooms being outside main reception and breakfast venue. But still value for money because of the modern rooms.

Room size. Neatness. Shuttle service. View of sunrise from upstairs. Breakfast. Views from club house. Music at restaurants. Bigger bed than most hotels. Renovated room with beautiful bathtub and modern finishes.

We phoned to complain about the room and they made a plan to move us to a better room so we do appreciate the service, just sad to see the difference between 2019 and 2024.

The room we were first put in smelled like a closet that hasnt been opened in years. The garden outside the room was in a terrible state. So dissapointing because we got married at Oubaai in 2019 and it certainly went backwards since then.

Unfortunately the aircon/heater wasn't working, it was cold in the room and there was no additional blanket. Also no Tissues nor Toilet spray.

The porter was grumpy. The bathroom being being centered in the middle of the room give the impression of little privacy.

The spaciousness of the room was good. Cleanliness is good. Surroundings were good. Breakfast was nice and had a large variety of food. Staff were friendly.

I felt that it would have been nice to have some tissues in the room - I couldn't find any. I also felt that it would have been lovely to have even a single wrapped rusk to have with early morning wakeup coffee. Otherwise everything had been thought of and was perfect.

There is some maintenance needed in the rooms (small water marks in the wallpaper, large crack through the bath) as well as in the dining room (wooden cladding on wall near breakfast buffet has quite a few dents, scratches and chips). These are isolated things I noted and did not detract from the overall beauty and comfort.

Room had a sea view but was south facing so received no sun. For 2 of the nights the hotel had a tour group from India who were very noisy and inconsiderate.
