Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room did not have a microwave and if you checked in late there are no food alternatives. Breakfast closes too soon for us who wake up later in the day.

We could have been told of the option for take away breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. We asked about breakfast times but this option was not mentioned to us only to discover during our departure that breakfast packs were done for others.
Everyone was helpful and the place is pleasant, will use it again.

I didn’t like the bed, it was sagging in the middle. In my room a new bed was needed Small things like 2 cups to have tea, only one cup in the room

Our room did not have great illumination. It wasn't a problem for our leisure stay but it would have been a problem if one was there for business and needed to do some work or even study.

Sometimes the staff members can be a pain in the *** and are simply not welcoming.
I usually stay here whenever I’m in Polokwane. The rooms are clean and quiet, and there’s a bar on the ground floor for unwinding after meetings or work. The on-site restaurant serves decent food and breakfast. I love the location — it’s conveniently close to Peter Mokaba Stadium and the N1, making it easy to get in and out of town. It’s also near the Polokwane Nature Reserve, which I often visit for a hike if my stay is longer than a day. In terms of value for money, it can be a hit or miss — sometimes great, sometimes less impressive. I suppose it depends on the season.

The aircon was not heating up. Froze through the night. The bedding sheets are very cold which makes it difficult to stay there during winter seasons.

Room 118 - the window didn't close properly (it didn't seal tight) - there was gap that was about 1/2cm big where the cold air just simply came in. And so there was quite a draft coming into my room for my stay there. Unfortunately I only recognized the above when I came back from supper at 20:30/21:00 and at that point I just wanted to sleep... so i didn't notify the front desk. Thankfully the fan could blow warm air and so I slept with this one the entire evening. But it was bitterly cold throughout the evening because of this.
This place is great. The facilities are modern and I felt safe and sound in my room. The breakfast was also on point. :-)

The room was a bit small for two men in a twin. The beds were not separated like I asked for. (We had to move them around to suffice). The drain in the bathroom floor kept clogging and flooding the room. (They did fix-it, after we complained). Water pressure was questionable. No Wi Fi!
The restaurant and waitresses were nice. Food was so, so. Beef was very tough, but chicken was good. They sold drinks on the premise and was very convenient.

Generally, our stay was great. We experienced an issue with no hot water during the day, which was a bit inconvenient.
We had pleasant stay at the hotel, with seamless check in process despite us arriving late in the evening. Our suite was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was impresssive, and the staff were helpful and friendly during our stay. The room service was excellent and we were happy with the food quality. The complimentary internet was not so great. We enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be back when we visit family.
