The location is brilliant. Super close to the town square, and the epitome of luxury! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Dineo welcomed us, with a friendly face, and we stayed in a beautiful room, with a stunning view of the mountain range, elite finishes, and well stocked for everything needed for the stay. We also had breakfast there, which was scrumptious, and in such beautifully decorated spaces. We were treated like royalty! A wonderful stay all round.

We stayed in the cottage and it was absolutely beautiful and had everything we wanted! Second time booking at the cottage and will definitely do so again. Dineo was a darling and looked after us so nicely, even gave recommendations of what to do every day. Breakfast was delicious and made with love. And there was even cake available for breakfast! 😍

A most charming place in a quiet and gorgeous environment. Clarens is a must if you want to relax off the beaten tracks and enjoy nature in its brightest beauty. We loved the venue which is so comfortable and was like a family home to us. Tim is a fantastic host who will pay attention to every detail (the sherry decanter in our room was greatly appreciated) and will go the extra mile to meet your expectations. Guests will enjoy a delicious, home-made breakfast in a lovely room overlooking a well-kept garden with mountains in the background: here again the food and service are perfect. We would have dinner at Clementines, a lovely restaurant down the street and our headquarters for the whole duration of our stay at Clarens. If you don't have a car and want to travel around (especially trips to nearby Lesotho) don't fail to contact Maluti Tours and talk to Shane, an enthusiastic entrepreneur and great soul, who will offer you a thrilling experience of South Africa. The host, Tim, was absolutely charming. He was warm and welcoming and cooked the most exquisite breakfasts. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The view from the breakfast patio is absolutely breathtaking. A quiet and romantic spot. Complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, rusks and sherry were a treat. As was the electric blanket and air conditioner for extra warmth during the cold winter months. Beautiful room with so much attention to detail throughout. The perfect location if you're looking to be close to the Clarens village.

The hostess and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious with fresh fruit and made to order eggs bacon and sausages. The room is decorated excellently and it has all the smaller finer details you need when you travel.

Would have loved the bedding changed daily but it's only changed per a stay though it's minor, just dusted bed again and it was ok.

The host Tim and his team took such good care of us. Attention to detail is what comes to mind. The accomodation is a 2 Min walk to the city centre. Hiking trails start 2 Min away. Lots of lady bugs in the winter coming in to get warm.

Everything about this place was amazing. From the time we entered, we were treated like royalty. The host Tim was attentive, kind, and paid attention to every detail. The staff were very kind and hospitable, and they made sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was great. They even went as far as making sure that we got what we asked for, even though it wasn't on the menu. Overall an amazing stay, just a pity we couldn't stay longer Everything is within walking distance and very safe.

From the moment we arrived at Patcham Place in Clarens, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Tim, whose friendliness and hospitality set the tone for a truly lovely stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had reliable hot water—which was much appreciated during the chilly evenings. The air conditioning kept the space perfectly warm, and waking up to a stunning view of nature from our bedroom balcony was pure magic. All the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. A real highlight was the breakfast each morning—absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care. Every detail of our stay made it memorable. We loved our time at Patcham Place and would gladly return.

From the warm greeting as we arrived to our well managed departure, Patcham Place & Lilliput House over-delivered. The room is spacious, quiet and very well appointed. The shared area and breakfast setting is exquisite. And Tim's breakfast was of a restaurant quality. A memorable stay in the beautiful village of Clarens. As recommended by the host, Clementine's restaurant just up the road served a wonderful dinner.
