We didn’t stay long at this property, but we immediately felt at home thanks to the incredibly warm welcome from Nicky and Paul Wallace, even though we arrived late at night. The cottage was charming and cosy, and the fireplace was especially appreciated on a cold, wet July evening. The location is great - peaceful yet conveniently close to Grabouw and Kleinmond, not to mention the famous farm stalls of Peregrine, Houw Hoek and Elgin Railway Market. Highly recommended; and be sure to enjoy some wine tasting while you’re there!

Maybe some hooks for the wet towels. Otherwise everything you needed were supplied. Lovely accommodation.

Paul and his wife Nicky are such lovely people. The winetasting was exceptional and their wines are made with love. Thank you for the warm welcome. The farm fresh eggs and firewood for the indoor fireplace and braai outside. The braai area was cleaned the next morning and we received more wood for the next braai. The fireplace was warm and comforting and complimented the accommodation. Quiet and peaceful. The Labs were a treat and the farm itself with the two dams are a beautiful place just to relax and find your soul. A visit to Elgin Railway Market on a weekend is a MUST. Thank you Paul and Nicky for a warm, hearty stay.

We needed more time!

The family greeted us as soon as we arrived. They helped us check in and get settled before we started our activities for the day. Paul, Nicky, and Bobby went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were also extremely helpful in finding us a driver and recommending great wine farms to visit.

Lovely area. Height of fruit picking season. Beautiful valley. Nice walking through the vineyards. Wine tasting interesting. Lots of information in the brochure on things to do around and about. Only downside was the 3 undisciplined dogs who were underfoot at meal times. One even took a bite of our 18 month old granddaughter’s food.

Beautiful and peaceful wine farm with superb view. The cottages are really well located and a unique experience that our family will always cherish. We enjoyed walking around the farm, sitting outside our cottage enjoying some meals as a family and just chilling. Nicky was an exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. Kitchen was well equipped, we had a braai option that we did not use! Even helped us with extra bottle of water & wine tasting! Would definitely recommend.

The location is absolutely perfect. A tranquil wine farm tucked away in the Elgin valley. It really is a piece of heaven. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their wine is amazing. We will definitely return.

Stunning property - tastefully decorated cottages overlooking the vineyards, very comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Only the weather and we were too late to taste any of their wines which was our fault.

The location was excellent. The weather, unfortunately, was not. We were house bound for most of our stay and quite comfortable.
