I found the guests in the hallways made Alot of noise. With the bathroom door open the room felt very cramped. TV channels were total waste rather remove the TV, or allow streaming channels.

Some staff wasn't very helpful. Others went above and beyond. Would be nice to have a place where we can leave boats. There was a group booking with people attending a conference - they got quite rowdy the 1st night. Management quickly intervened, however, next morning breakfast was not enough when we went. Couldn't wait as we had to get to event.

We attended the Lowveld Canoe Marathon (Lowveld Canoe Club). It's right across the property. It was great to have our support crew able to support us from the venue where we stayed, allowing partners to sleep in, but still enjoy our race.

The staff isn’t very professional. The person who checked us in was clearly new and wasn’t sure about how the payment should happen since i booked through Booking.com. One less room than my booking was allocated to us when we got there and we were given a room that must have been allocated to someone else because someone entered that room in the early morning while it was still occupied by us.

The place itself is very pretty with a rustic aesthetic. The location isn’t too far and is surrounded by other accommodations and the surroundings are beautiful.

The hotel waiters at breakfast were not friendly at all. It was like they were forced to wake up and serve customers. These ladies need to work on their customer service skills. Then - We were given a faulty paddle boat, it started accumulating water on our way back, and we were sunken wet due to it nose diving with us in it. There was no one around to help and my partner and I had to figure a way to swim offshore pulling the boat with our hands and finally managed to drain the water out with the help of our fellow guests who were also paddling. It was an unpleasant experience for all of us.

The tranquility around the garden and the lake was just breathtaking. The chef was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our breakfast for both days.

it was a lovely experience! The location and view were absolutely stunning, making it a perfect getaway. I also think you should promote water sports more; it would be a fantastic addition to an already great stay! Highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at Pine Lake Inn in White River, and it was a wonderful experience! The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the calm atmosphere. The silence from traffic made for a peaceful stay. Highly recommend it!

I didn't like the fact that there are no bar fridges in the rooms. I had to drink my water and energy drinks warm.

The pillow, the overall shabbiness and datedness of the rooms, eg booking toilet seat, mould on the bathroom ceiling, TV limited to one channel, no fridge in room, icky carpets. The Inn doesn't compare favourably with, for example, the Protea Marriott Hotel in Mbombela.

Loved the friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Supper was very average.
