The bed was very comfortable, the dome beautiful, kitchen well equipped, hot tub nice and HOT, stunning views, lighting great, plug points where needed and a lot of small details that makes it even more special!

We like self catering. Sitting together making a meal. The kitchen is big enough for 1 person at a time, and there wasn’t a sheltered area where we could put the table and chairs outside to prep food or to eat. This is not an issue if you are not planning to just braai or will be eating out at the fantastic restaurants in the area. I would love to go in summer. There was no way to shelter the outdoor bath from the cold wind

We stayed in Tranquility. Our time there was mostly cold and wet weather, but the dome was nice and warm. There is a gas heater in the room. Area was spacious and we were able to put the patio table and chairs inside the dome for meals. The view is magnificent. Mike was quick with answers to any enquiries we had and he was quick to respond when we were battling with the outdoor baths hot water. (It was our mistake and the water was hot). We were able to use the bath one afternoon when the sun came out. The bedding and pillows felt very luxurious and warm.

To make it more awesome ... With such a lovely braai area outside with an outside bath and hammock, you will not find me in the kitchen. One thing that I missed was steak knives. Realized afterwards that I really want to know how the Ecodomes came about. When and who built it? It would be nice to learn more about the history of the Ecodomes at Tesselaarsdal. It can be added in the brochure in the dome.

The uniqueness of the accommodation ... and it is literally in the middle of nowhere. It has everything you need to make it an enjoyable and unforgettable visit. The hammocks and outside bath are awesome.

The wind, but hey you take what nature gives you and make the best of it. Nothing else to say here.

Our stay was amazing, we had everything that we needed and expected for our short but very sweet breakaway. Beautiful, natural surroundings. Peace and quiet and also a very intamate setting. All the boxes were ticked. The domes are very Cosy inside. The kitchen and toilet facilities clean and has everything a couple needs. Both Mike and Sandy are exceptional hosts. The hot tub was amazing even with the wind. We walked the whole farm before we finally found the labarinth of love which we both enjoyed and and found symbolic of how love works. Thank you for creating this serene, tranquil and infinite space!

Amazing! Loved the peace and quiet and being in the middle of nowhere. The bath was absolutely amazing and the bed very comfortable. The full moon shone through the top of the dome in the early hours of the morning and it was awesome. Mike and Sandy were great hosts. We loved, loved, loved it and wished we could stay longer.

The dome is very cold in winter with no electric blankets. The temprature in the dome during the night was a bit uncomfortable, should be awesome in summer.

The weather didn’t play its part halfway thru the stay, but were content and cosy.

As avid campers and overlanders, it was welcoming to stay in the dome and see the stars from the bed. Outside bath tub was fantastic and kitchen had everything we needed. Braai was also well situated and perfect for our requirements.

I liked everything.

The eco domes concept is exciting and something different. The attention to detail is amazing and the little touches are really special. Everything was available to us of what we needed and fuss free. I spent most of my time on the outdoor hammock catching Vit D and reading The outdoor bathtub under the sky with a glass of wine felt like a movie. The hosts are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home but they are easy and non invasive... they made us feel at home. As well as their special doggies.... The views, the energy of the farm is calming. We absolutely loved our stay. We also had an aromatherapy massage by the local masseuse as well as went on a hike with an expert. The hike was longer than I had anticipated so take some snacks (you can request a shorter hike too) but absolutely happy about that and loved it. Went to the Famous Postkantoor restaurant afterwards for a hearty meal. All so divine.

That we had to leave.

It was a lovely Glamping experience. The dome is situated on a beautiful plot, surrounded by nature. It's winter, so it was cold... but as the wind was battling, the Dome stayed out of that fight, lol. It's such a sturdy, comfortable space. Romantic, and the gas heater came in very handy. We could rest, listening to the sounds of nature, and witness the sun's dramatic exit. Pure bliss. Mike and Sandy have poured themselves into it. Making it truly eco-friendly. Mike and I spoke about the build, the process, and the Why. Communication was effortless, and we were hosted really well.

This place is just magical. Besides the incredible view, bed, hot tub, fire pit, bathroom, kitchen, location and hammock, the personal touches and little treats such as the sherry, fresh fresh milk, Easter eggs, local info books, the most friendly welcome by the hosts, and the gifted delicious pomegranates from the farm to try, were just the cherries on top to make you feel like you’ve hit gold with your accommodation booking. We had a cloudy full moon night but when the clouds broke for a moment, the stars were magnificent and the moonlight even more.
