It’s a beautiful property with very friendly and attentive employees. The lighting is warm and inviting and the resort feels like a huge treehouse with wildlife everywhere. The property even went above and beyond helping us to celebrate our anniversary.

the game drives were quite long and not enough breaks between. The guide could offer more information and at times drove too fast we struggled to depict out the animals.

Absolutely impressed with everything here. The room was so big, everything new, we would wake up and see impalas in the garden. Food was absolutely delicious. Like wow, so many options, for vegetarians as well. Would wait everyday for that dinner. Kind staff, we had some great game drives with them. So many options to chill, play boardgames, a gym that would compete with an actual commercial gym, so well equipped. Terrace and pool wow, we spotted so many animals just from there. Massage absolutely incredible, the view from the room was great as well. Probably one of the best hotel we stayed. And it’s so close to the park.

Everything! From check in, to organizing safari's, to preparing meals and hot water bottles for the cold morning safari's, to dinner shows and entertainment... everything was taken care of. The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and welcome. I can't recommend the Kruger Gate enough, we will be back 🙌🏽

We had an amazing stay at Kruger Gate Hotel! Perfectly located right at the park entrance, it made our game drives super easy. The views over the Sabie River are stunning, and you can even spot wildlife from the deck. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. A perfect mix of comfort, nature, and convenience—we’ll definitely be back!

Loved our stay here, located right next to the gate. A very warm and helpful staff, the rooms are clean and spacious and super clean. You will see a few monkeys and small wild life on the property which is pretty cool. Loved their night buffet with so many delicious options and a very nice and fun environment with music and activities. Strongly recommend.

We loved our room, it was spacious and had everything in it that we needed. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff went beyond their duty to prepare our halaal meals. I would highly recommend Kruger Gate.

It’s not I didn’t like but it’d be good if they could let us know about the evening and night drive safari options that can be arranged through sanparks as I didn’t know that there is a night safari option which I was really excited about. The hotel only offers morning and afternoon drives which is between 5.00-16.00

The baboon's can get a bit noisy at night! :-) And when people leave early or arrive late it is quite noisy outside the rooms when they walk past with their luggage, but these are minor inconveniences.

The location is really nice - bordering Kruger National Park on the river near the Kruger gate entrance where you get nice views of animals during the day especially. Good range of facilities, very nice breakfast and great supper's. The staff were really helpful and good. The rooms are not very special, but they are more than adequate. Overall we had a fantastic stay.
