We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This is most likely more than my sixth review of Q on First B&B. Is is an absolutely exceptional place and space to rest, relax and recharge. Highly recommended whether you stay or visit Johannesburg. Staff from reception, to Manager, cleaning are extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful. They check on you regularly to make sure you are still happy and comfortable.

New ZealandThe shower was leaking water on to the floor. There is nothing around the property but the Rosebank shopping mall, about 1.4km away. We were advised not to walk there but use an Uber.
When we arrived around 4pm the property felt deserted. Eventually I found a staff member who helped us with the check in and showed us the common room areas and our room. Like the rest of the house, our room with ensuite bathroom was big with a big, comfortable bed and it was nicely decorated. We sat in the bar living room area for a while, enjoyed a drink using the honesty box, but no-one else seemed to be around. This is a new ce property, it just has the feel of past glory.

TaiwanCleanliness of the sheeting could be improved, inside the drawers were not cleaned. It was cold winter, it would be nice if it has electric blanket as the floor heating wasn't enough during the earlier morning time. We were freezing. We could hear when next door's guests were talking.

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! Great communication via WhatsApp - the staff extremely friendly and always available to assist. Uncle Louis and Bheki made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The room, or should I say mini-apartment :) exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. It was comfortable, clean and everything I needed. YouTube and Netflix made my stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend Q on First - you will leave well rested and recharged.
