It was my sister's first visit to Johannesburg - she loved every part of her stay. The accommodation exceeded her expectations in every way. She left noting that when she comes again, she wants to stay at Q on First - nowhere else :)

My booking price included breakfast but when we got there we were told that breakfast was not included and we should pay for it separately.

This is most likely more than my sixth review of Q on First B&B. Is is an absolutely exceptional place and space to rest, relax and recharge. Highly recommended whether you stay or visit Johannesburg. Staff from reception, to Manager, cleaning are extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful. They check on you regularly to make sure you are still happy and comfortable.

Q on First B&B is my go-to accommodation to zone out, relax and recharge. The place is clean, peaceful and always exceeds expectations. If you are visiting Johannesburg, do not hesitate to make this your 'home-away-from-home.'

The shower was leaking water on to the floor. There is nothing around the property but the Rosebank shopping mall, about 1.4km away. We were advised not to walk there but use an Uber.

When we arrived around 4pm the property felt deserted. Eventually I found a staff member who helped us with the check in and showed us the common room areas and our room. Like the rest of the house, our room with ensuite bathroom was big with a big, comfortable bed and it was nicely decorated. We sat in the bar living room area for a while, enjoyed a drink using the honesty box, but no-one else seemed to be around. This is a new ce property, it just has the feel of past glory.

Adrian is always available and provides guidance as and when requested. Thank you, Adrian! Additionally, he is accommodating, kind and responsive. Uncle Bheki and Louis are exceptional - from the moment you check-in to the time you leave. Friendly, kind and extremely helpful!! Highly recommend Q on First B&B :)

The property was very nicely laid out and the architecture was lovely. Staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. The mall and other establishments were within walking distance. It felt very secure.

Cleanliness of the sheeting could be improved, inside the drawers were not cleaned. It was cold winter, it would be nice if it has electric blanket as the floor heating wasn't enough during the earlier morning time. We were freezing. We could hear when next door's guests were talking.

Location is good, Staff were friendly, in & out the B&B was convenient.

All I can say is WOW! WOW! WOW! Great communication via WhatsApp - the staff extremely friendly and always available to assist. Uncle Louis and Bheki made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The room, or should I say mini-apartment :) exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. It was comfortable, clean and everything I needed. YouTube and Netflix made my stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend Q on First - you will leave well rested and recharged.
