South Africawas the most uncomfortable stay ever! It's for sure, not a "guest house." The place is used for something else... I tried to speak to the manager but did not pay attention to my concerns. What is advised on the website is most definitely the opposite. The owner should be there to see for him or herself. I will never recommend Randgate Guest house. And you advertise it. Please reconsider. .

South KoreaFirstly, when I got to the place it was definitely not what was advertised. I was supposed to have my own bedroom, kitchen and bathroom but they said I had to share the bathroom and kitchen which was in terrible condition. I refused to stay there because it was not mentioned "shared" on the website. At reception was a drunk man at the entrance, sleeping on the floor. The lady i spoke to there is the sister of the owner. She called her sister and she told me that they own another place just 4mins away. So i went to see. It had its own bedroom and bathroom, however a shared kitchen. I had to pay extra to stay there and I had no choice because I traveled from Durban to start work the next day. The new place was also very dirty and when you are seated on the toilet there was continuous dripping of water on you from the broken geyser. The place was also very noisy and seemed unsafe with the type of people in and out of there. The kitchen has bugs and so did my room. I had to leave after a week because of such conditions. The owner refused to refund me so I called bookings.com and was also disappointed because they said they couldn't assist with a refund. I will never use this site again and definitely won't recommend it.

South AfricaEverything. The beds were comfortable enough given that we were extremely tired. But the basin outside of the bathroom with only cold water, kettle but no cups, no bathroom mats, and only 1 towel for a family of 4. The worst was being woken up and a being sound, seemingly a geyser thing, that just wouldn't stop.
Only the fact that the contact person was available even way after hrs. Waited for us and checked in on us as we delayed. We got there very late, but she directed us and opened for us.
