The house has only one bathroom.

It’s a nice location and beautiful house for a group. Although not worth it for more than 3 people as it has only one bathroom.

My booking was for Unit 48, but we were given Unit 2. There was nothing wrong with the unit but this was not what we booked for. The facilities listed a dishwasher and ironing facilities, none of which I could find in the unit. I also queried if it was possible to drop off our luggage and food a bit earlier, but was told that the unit would not be ready. The luggage and food stayed in the car in the sun for the day until we were able to check in around 18h00.

Unfortunately, our stay was short (only one night), but the location was perfect, as our client was just up the road. We also ate at the Maroela Bar and could walk across the road to get there. No need to drive. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable.

We were contacted after check-out and were told that a few towels had "gone missing". Would be nice if the management made sure that everything was in place and not actually missing before asking us in that manner.

Absolutely loved this unit (No.48). It was spacious & comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen & washing machine. Plenty of restaurants around & a supermarket too. It was a wonderful place to catch some rest after a tiring couple of days in the park.

Just one thing, we have been living with loadshedding for a very long time, and I would suggest being more prepared, more than candles. Some emergency lights in the living area would have been sufficient enough.

Apart from the one negative, it is still one of the best places to overnight in Hoedspruit.

your lady at the office - Shirley -was MOST helpful and went that extra mile to assist with any query we had entrance and finding correct gate a little confusing - needs better signage braai grit would have been nice and advice to bring own wood as well

Not well rounded. Expensive for the quality of stay as opposed to other places in the area. The loft room is disappointing - no curtains, no table, lack finishing touches. The staircase is dangerously steep. Counters needs replacement, some mugs are chipped.

It was not that easy to find the booking-in counter. Only the 2 x downstairs bedrooms had air-conditioning in. The 3rd bedroom in the loft was extremely warm without an air-conditioner and the 2 x people had to eventually sleep downstairs in the lounge under a fan, but it was extremely hot. The lounge also did not have an Air-conditioner. Only one bathroom to share between 6 people (3 x bedrooms). No separate toilet. Wasn't what we expected for a family of 6.

Security was good (inside security complex), safe close parking infront of the unit.
