We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

South AfricaThe TV was not working. When we tried to connect our DSTV decoder as requested to bring our own, it didnt work. When contacting housekeeping spoke to Monita who was not helpful at all, she told us we need to use Open View as DSTV does not work there. However even that Open View was not working. As a result we spent the entire weekend with no TV, which was a bit challenging seeing as we had kids with us. Also load shedding was a mood killer, I know it's out of your control but for visitors please take note of the load shedding schedules and stages when booking as the flight of stairs were too much all the way to the fourth floor daily. The aircon in the lounge is not working, the heatwave was unbearable and miserable.
The actual apartment was absolutely lovely, beautiful ocean views and spacious place to move around.

South Africa1. Both fridges’ bottom storages are not cold, even when we have adjusted the fridge’s thermometer. It was only their top freezers that were cold. This resulted in some of our food being off as we had left it overnight in the fridge on Friday. 2. The kitchen sink tap rubber seems to be loose and the water sips on to the cabinet and into the floor, which in turn cause the floor to be constantly slippery and dangerous. Also, the shower in the master/main bedroom sprinkles awkwardly as it seems like some of the holes are blocked, so showering was not easy. 3. Lastly, there were quite a number of cockroaches roaming around during the day and at night.
The property is beautiful, very safe and quite spacious. It had all the inventory we needed. the beds were comfortable and the linen was clean and crispy. The security guard on duty on Friday helped to orient us and showed us how the alarm and the gate lift worked. Then on Saturday, another security guard took his time to show us how the braai grill worked when we were struggling to get it going. We appreciated their courteous manner .
