Spacious and comfortable house, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The host goes the extra mile by providing little extra things to make the house feel like home away from home! Short walk to the Struisbaai beach, in a secure estate/complex. The host kept in touch and kept us updated. Will definitely book again in the future!

Had to think hard and long for anything we didn’t like! If I had to nitpick I’d say the house was a bit damp when we arrived, but it’s definitely to be expected with a house by the ocean and a thatch roof. It was easily remedied by opening the doors and windows for a bit. It was also a bit dusty on the counters when we arrived, but again this is likely due to the thatch roof and heavy winds by the ocean. A quick wipe of the surfaces with a cloth (disposables were provided) and the house was good to go. The house was otherwise pristine.

The pictures do not do it justice. The estate is well maintained and a short walk from the ocean. The house itself is spacious and so well designed with a fireplace inside and the braai area outside. Ideal for a holiday if lounging around and relaxing. Everything was as advertised. The hostess was superb and communicated everything we needed to know timeously before our stay. Was easy to get help if needed. Definitely a must stay and eager to go again.

Perfect place to spend the Easter weekend with family. My daughter loved the pool and we all enjoyed using the outdoor area. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms.

The location of the property was as advertised and was easy to find. The security of the estate were also very friendly and helpful. The property had all equipment needed for a relaxing homestay. The host was very attentive and communication was easy.

The house had everything we needed and more. Some small things (toilet spray and handwash in all bathrooms, proper coffee machine, a good bbq grill) just add the extra touch that you don’t see everywhere. The communication with the owner was one of the easiest I have experienced in a booking!

There were no hand towels in the bathrooms, and the beds were standard length - not ideal for a super tall family! ;) We felt the bed linen and pillows should've been a better quality (100% cotton) especially in hot weather. A fan in each bedroom would be necessary in the middle of summer - and to chase away the mosquitoes.

WOW! What a superb location. The house is very pretty, inside and outside. It is welcoming, comfortable and spacious, and the large space around the pool was a blessing when the wind picked up. It is the ideal holiday house for a family with children - or more than one family staying together. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. A dishwasher on holiday is such a treat :)

There’s nothing to dislike

The property was in excellent condition. It is located close to the shops and restaurants, walking distance to the beach and fully equipped with everything you need and best of all it has an inverter, so no loadshedding woes!

Our only challenge was on arrival the cleaner had mistakenly locked the house from the inside so we struggled to get in but Samantha & Jacques were very helpful in trying to resolve this

An absolutely beautiful home - spacious, fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful outdoor entertainment area with a pool. It's in easy walking distance of the beach, close to shops & restaurants.
