I missed a turn getting in to the place the signage was not clearly visible maybe get more signage installed about 600m away as well.

The location is perfect nothing was out the ordinary. I struggled getting to the location because of the rainy season the road is bad for a small car. But then Tim and Nick were my super hero's getting me to the guesthouse.

Charming and humble cottage in a picturesque setting, with a very welcoming host and peaceful atmosphere.

Very steep stairs to the main bedroom makes it a little daunting to move a suitcase up and down, a little pulley would be great. The dogs are difficult to keep out of the cottage courtyard due to the gaps in the gate, and the double bed was quite spongy, and left us a bit stiff in the morning, it might need to be flipped and rotated, if not replaced.

Got to do a little off-roading up the farm road to the top of the hill, friendly farm dogs, and a wonderful garden to explore with Macadamia nuts littering the ground under the big old trees.

The road into the property need serious attention. Private cars won't survive there only bakkies/SUV's and 4x4

The environment was serene. Beautiful views 😍

The biggest problem is the road there. It needs to be graded - filled in with sand, gravel, concrete. Fix the road, and there will be more guests. There were also small things in the room that bothered me. Sorting these out would definitely make the experience exceptional: that one could actually lock the door, lights were flickering, there wasn't shower gel or soap and shampoo (I used the hand soap to wash myself), there wasn't rooibos teabags, it would be nice to have a rusk or 2 to enjoy with tea/coffee in the evening/morning, the shower tap did not show which side is hot or cold, maybe a double bed mattress instead of 2 single beds (I slept diagonally across both, but then the bedside light kept switching on when I moved too much), perhaps a ceiling fan or stand alone fan (wasn't up to taking down the fan, setting it up and plugging it in).

The chalet - Ida's cottage - was well set out. Elegant - everything clean, well constructed. Really cosy and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the effort made.

The road is bad and muddy. The main bedroom is upstairs and far from the toilet. Not too good for a person who is afraid of heights.

The place is nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was all what one needs in the kitchen. It is also clean .

The property is in a beautiful scenic area. The room is large with a kitchen, lounge and dining room table to work on. The fireplace will make a nice addition in winter months.

The Farm Road is VERY bad, if I had been on my own I would not have attempted it. I think it should be noted before we book.

Access to the property is on a road that requires 4WD. Many dogs on the property. Parking some distance away from the cottage, with many back and forth trips to the car to pack and unpack.

Decently outfitted cottage. Priced for what you can get in the area.

i didn't like that we only booked for one night...wish we could have stayed longer.

the warm reception and kind nature of Nik at the farm guest house, exceeded my expectations. The farm was tranquil with beautiful trees. The breakfast that Nik cooked for us was delicious. The highlight was the Swiss challah bread he baked for our breakfast.
