We were blown away. Uwe is an amazing host. On arrival we were spoilt with fabulous coffee and apple cake. Everything is done so tastefully. He welcomed us into his beautiful home and treated us like family without overstepping the boundaries. The recommendations for visits into Barrydale were spot on; and breakfast was AMAZING. What a gentleman.

A gorgeous house with a beautiful garden. Its peaceful and really relaxing. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. Bed were comfortable for a splendid good night rest. Its clean and Uwe thought of everything to make your stay special. We were warmly welcomed , and had a extraordinary dinner.You will find many wonderful guesthouses but there is only one special host and thats Uwe. Thank you for sharing not only your home, but also amazing scrumptuous food, and your warm heart and special friends with us. It was a once in a lifetime experience and we will defnitely visit again.

The room was spacious and comfortable, it was like a home from home. There is a lovely terrace looking out on to well kept gardens, this is where Uwe serves a fabulous breakfast. It’s very peaceful. You have the full run of the house with places to sit and relax. There is a well stocked honesty bar. The location is great, very close to the town. Uwe is very attentive and a mine of information on what to do while you are there.

A lovely renovated home filled with interesting eclectic decor, set in a beautiful garden. Uwe is an enthusiastic and welcoming host, also recommending a great place to eat dinner. Simply the best German breakfast included!
