The forest views and the feeling of being in the forest in a cabin. The fireplace is perfect for the cold. The electric blanket helps with the cold too. There is a short forest walk on the property which is a great way to start each day.

There was not enough matches, firelighters or wood. The wood in the cabin is enough for about two uses in the fireplace. You will have to buy more wood if you want to have the fireplace going for longer and if you will braai. That was a bit of a downer. Also there was only enough coffee and sugar for one use. It doesn't seem to be filled after the guests leave.

Cabin is perfect for a couple or up to 4 couples as they could each have a cabin. Facilities was good and a little shop for convenience.

The setting and surround of the cabins and the outdoor deck nestling in the forest is absolutely stunning.

The self-check in is not a big problem, but if you check in at night, it is dark no outside lights. When it is raining it is a bit of a problem to carry your luggage on the wooden pathways that goes up and down to your cabin. We could shower in the evening when it was a bit warmer outside but the morning when it was very cold there was only boiling water or no water there was no way to regulate the showers water. Nice fireplace but only 6 pieces of wood. You can buy wood at the cabins.

There was no signage to the cabin and we had a difficult time locating it, although we did check in late in the evening.

the cabin was very clean and well kept. Absolutely loved the chandelier in the honey bee cabin. Such a beautiful soft touch.

However, I would recommend updating the accommodation description on Booking.com to specify that it operates as a "self check-in" facility. I received this information only after confirming the booking, which was somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, my husband and I were not particularly impressed upon arrival, when we were greeted by the hosts shouting from their balcony, attempting to explain the location of the key and other details. This interaction left us with an impression of being unwelcome, as it seemed the hosts preferred minimal engagement with their guests. Moreover, the cabin was not fully prepared for our stay. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, no matches or firelighters provided, no hand towels in the bathroom, and the fireplace had not been cleaned since the previous guest's departure.

The cabin featured a charming deck with a breathtaking view of the forest, providing an opportunity to observe monkeys playfully interacting with the branches and a variety of birds. The interior of the cabin was tastefully decorated, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.

I would add an extractor fan in the cabin, for the smoke that might escape the fire place. the cabins that were to close to one another, really did not feel as private as I would have liked.

I left early.. So was not interested in breakfast. The location was ok not much to look at, but the cabins was a good idea. Except they're all right next to each other, so the slightest noise would disrupt the other cabins.
