The food from the restaurant was a let down. Otherwise, everything was good.

Unfortunately part of our stay we were looking forward to was the Hot Tub - Upon opening and removing the sail ready to climb in the water was extremely dirty with lots of dead insects including live larva worms inside the water - Unfortunately because of this there were an abundance of flies circulating our outside area on the deck which caused the flies to alao enter the dome itself, at one point we could count about over 20 flies - The insect repellant we had to finish to eventually get all the flies killed and had to keep our door shut. This left quiet a damper on this beautiful spot.

It was raining on arrival so the drive in was slippery, and road was not to pleasant. I also felt for the price we paid all should have been inclusive, any activity like doing a hike was extra.

Absolute awesome location and setting with privacy and great food. We were blessed to have a full moon during our stay which was supa awesome.

Only suggestion would maybe provide a small net to scoop up any creepy crawlies that are in the hot tub before one gets in as I did notice a couple.

Location. Location. Location. We have never stayed in a more idyllic place. The dome is a fully kitted out ecolodge with some of the most amazing views of the sea during the day, sunset at dusk and then the stars at night. It is so private you cannot hear anything apart from the sound of the sea crashing and the wildlife in the trees. It has an AC unit so despite being a glass dome doesn't get too hot. It has a smart TV that comes out from the end of the bed, so you can snuggle up at night and watch a movie. It has a BBQ and picnic Braai hampers are provided on request so you can BBQ whilst watching the sun go down. We didn't use the hot tub because it was too warm but could imagine this would be lovely in the cooler months.

We were so fortunate. We booked one night. We arrived on a sunny day. The views were amazing. I loved driving the golf cart. What fun. The monkeys stole my chips while I was in the toilet, but I got to see them up close. I did feel a bit intimidated. I also enjoyed the heated hot tub on the deck.

The hottub wasn't cleaned. Was filled with brown water and dead insects. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned out for a while. We ended up not using it. Paying close to 7k per night, I would expect the hottub to be filled with clean water after every stay. We received that service from KolKol at a R2200 per night rate. I didn't make a fuz about it, but some people would be extremely disappointed.

Understand that water is from a borehole, having murky/muddy water in the hot tub was not ideal for us. Hot tub also didn't seem to get to our desired temperature. We received our room service about an hour late.

Amazing views, we were blown away with everything regarding the booking. It is well deigned, with thought taken into account in every small detail. The service was exceptional by the staff and breakfast was great. Bonus was that we saw two wales playing close to the shore while relaxing on our deck!! Was definitely worth the money, would highly recommend.

Outside hot tub was not really working, but I am sure if we raised the concern to the team they would have attended to it immediately.

Amazing concept with the dome, waking up to the morning skies and going to sleep under the stars was incredible. The Misty Mountain team really looked after us, and we felt really really welcomed.

We thought the dinner basket was a little bit pricey for what we got. I think it would be wise to have a different price list for SA citizens as it is obviously more targeted for international travelers, but overall, we loved our stay.

Loved the view and the unique experience. It's definitely something ticked off the bucket list.
