Ideal location for a peaceful and quiet getaway. Cottage has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed sitting on the viewing deck, having sundowners and taking in the beautiful views.

everything! The bed is super comfortable and we slept well ! The ceiling fan was amazing ! The decor was clean simple and relaxing . We loved the "white Rhino" on the table ! Our host greated us on arrival and was helpful in advising local activities / shopping options. The info book was also very helpful and useful.

The pool area needed upkeep.

The location was perfect. We were able to go to drakensburg sun for the hike as well as cayley lodge for our meals. The mountains are clearly visible from the unit. Maryke was very accommodating and helpful (took a few plums for the trip back home). Loved being greeted by the 2 resident dogs. The fruit trees surrounding the cottage was a pleasant sight. Would return in a heartbeat.

Beautifully designed cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, great walk in shower and huge bed!! We loved our stay here! There is a great farm shop 10mins down the road which was lovely for stocking up for dinner. And the start of some lovely walks are just 20mins away

No reception to check in. Wasn't 100% sure how the entrance and greeting worked. Needed some clarity. There were renovations taking place while we were there.

A beautiful, modern and clean cottage with everything you would need for a weekend away. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. The cottage is situated about 10 mins away from most activities and attractions in the Champagne Valley.

Amazing hostess and a beautiful rustic cottage with lovely views of the mountain range. The cottage was really well appointed and you have the balance of country living combined with modern amenities. We'd definitely stay there again.

I did not like that the cottage was not fenced and the pets could access the cottage at any time.

I liked the location of the cottages. Everything is a few minutes drive away, & the views are great.

The Goodland Cottages is a fantastic place to stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated, making it cozy and welcoming, with super comfortable beds. You'll find chickens and the owner's dog nearby, adding a charming touch. There's also a small pool for cooling off on hot days. The area around the cottage is lush and green, offering stunning mountain views. In the evenings, sitting around the fire pit makes for a perfect end to the day. Plus, there are lots of activities to do in the area. Overall, The Goodland Cottages provide a peaceful and enjoyable escape, perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.

From the complimentary farm eggs, to the very warm welcome, to the extremely well kitted out kitchen and spotlessly clean cottage (even an air fryer is supplied), to the magnificent views, this is literally a piece of paradise. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back.
