It’s a piece of paradise, quite in nature, close to the river. Thoughtful gestures like olive oil and balsamic testers, hand made organic soap, cut wood on the stoeppie for a perfect braai. The views at sunrise and sunset are phenomenal. I also enjoyed running on the farm and along the river. The staff and everyone on the facility is so warm, welcoming and helpful.

A bit further from town than I thought but not a problem.

Quiet, beautifully laid out, well fitted out for self catering (though I only used the coffee machine!) and the braai area. I liked the outdoor area next to the shower.

The bar fridge was not adequate enough to house all our frozen and cold foods especially not for a few days at that.

We had an unforgettable stay at this accommodation! The views were absolutely breathtaking—surrounded by natural beauty that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The property was beautifully decorated with a charming rustic country feel, blending comfort with style. It was spotless, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered. We felt completely at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene, comfortable getaway. A truly fantastic experience!

I would only make one suggestion and that would be to have a few exit signs with directional arrows at selected cross roads or intersections. The second stair of the wooden stairs leading into Press unit 1, is in need of maintenance. Other than that I can find no fault.

I did not have breakfast at the venue, but will not miss it on my return visit. Next time I will stay longer and enjoy the beautiful tranquille surroundings. I did however get lost on the dirt roads within the estate but wrote it off as an adventure. I loved the natural indigenous landscape and the wine, gin and olive gift selection for sale in the room was enticing and I purchased most of the products. I look forward to trying the new restaurant that recently opened on the premises. I will be planning my next return visit in the new year. Its truly well worth the trip and stay.

Even though it might be a part of Farm life, the bats directly under our roof was a bit disturbing!

Braai was a great add on to this place. We loved the kitchen, and the fact that we had almost everything we needed! Great communication and friendly service from the staff at the farm

The floors convey sound extremely well. Noise from upstairs neighbours was a constant nuisance with furniture being scraped back and for the whole time. Unfortunately my cottage also had an interleading door to the one adjacent, which conveyed sound similarly. It spoils the experience a bit when you have to spend the night listening to your neighbour's snoring. I tried to maintain a sense of humour, but it gets to you after a while.

The cottages are beautifully clean and surprisingly well equipped with high quality utensils of everything you might need. Beds are high quality, furniture is loverly, views are lovely, staff amazingly friendly, and overall an absolute pleasure.

Pressrooms are not soundproof. No hanging space at all. Lack of towel rails or robe hooks in bathroom. A short info booklet would be grand. Access explained to use river deck & short history of farm. Being able to purchase their produce on site as doing a honesty EFT makes it difficult when touring.

The WiFi was a bit up and down due most probably to the wet weather but it was a perfect excuse to go off grid and enjoy a glass of wine and some olives made on the farm around the warmth of the fire!

An excellent stay in a most wonderful location; the unit was fully equipped and the farm, just outside stilbaai, was so peaceful. The self check in was easy and communication slick. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Property is immediately adjacent to others (ours - pressroom 2) and if there are other guests, it is not private at all. Pressrooms are also adjacent to offices and staff comes early and can be noisy early in the morning. The other rooms do not have this issue.

A beautiful property with views of the stars to die for. Big and spacious with an awesome braai area and everything one could need. Comfy bed and a sense of peace.

The bathroom could do with some additional fixtures such as a soap dish, a hand towel rail or additional hooks for towels and a glass or something for toothbrushes The coffee machine was awesome but only one pod provided. It would have been great to have enough pods for both occupants for both nights. The road up to the unit was not really friendly to a low clearance motor vehicle.

The shower was awesome. The seating in the little lounge area was comfortable and so were the beds. The coffee machine was an added bonus.
