The environment it was beautiful, peaceful and just a good way to unplug from busynes. I like the Teepee experience. I like the room, it was simple yet beautiful.

Maybe we can have bucket for peeing at night. It was super cold and had to go outside to pee😂

Beautiful nature The bathrooms were neat and comfortable The kitchen provide the necessary. With a few improvements this would be an excellent venue for the adventurous.

Over all a good experience but it would be good to advertise it as not a venue for older people and people with injuries or walking difficulties. We do understand the concept of the bed on the floor BUT maybe advertise it more prominently. For older people and people with injuries or recovering from operations it is very difficult to use beds such as these. More sensor lights on the pathways from and to the bathrooms would also help. Pathways are slippery and difficult to navigate. The entrance to the Tee Pee is unlevel and a trip hazard. The decks without any railing is also unsave for children. A few more chairs in the kitchen to cater for larger groups would be lovely. All the steps to all the fasilities can be inproved for saver and easier access.

I liked the tranquility.

So much air entering from the floor , we could see the outside of the floor inside ,if only they could do some work on the floor of the Teepee it would be magical.

Amazing experience - we will be back. Super friendly hosts, beautiful location, magical experience - sleeping in a genuine teepee with a real fire - warm and cosy and such fun.

Everything was great.

We loved our stay - the hosts were amazing and so friendly. The facilities were great, the kitchen more than adequate for the guests, just maybe an extra fridge needed when all the teepee's are booked. Great base station to explore Hogsback completely, we did everything we could in 3 days, but so much more to explore. The bed is huge, but maybe a little hard for my liking, slightly softer would be great, but the teepee is indeed Magical.

There are a few maintenance issues needed on the decking, but the owners were busy with them while we were there and they have only had the place for 4 months so getting stuck in was great to see. The fireplace in the teepee is such a novel idea, but be careful of not making the fire too big or else it can get a bit smoky, so trial and error and you smell no smoke and the smoke vents out the top, but keeps the teepee nice and cozy warm.

The owners are very sweet and helpful people who made us feel very welcome, the teepee was well kitted out for a glamping experience, warm, cozy and comfortable, the shared kitchen is stylish and has everything you need, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and each teepee has its own bathroom. I will definitely go back there to wake up to baboons, monkeys, cows, pigs and birds. Wonderful! Thank you!

The teepees are really unique and has a beautiful cozy feel. They are extremely comfortable and it has a whimsical feel about it. My husband and I loved our stay. The hosts were really lovely and provided us with a lot of information. You also have your own bathroom off of the teepee which had all the necessities and you could leave your stuff in the bathroom without carrying it back and forth. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay special for our honeymoon and arranged a delicious picnic basket for us. We really felt at home over the holidays. The kitchen was well equipped with a lovely deck area to soak in the views.

The bathrooms are not ensuite which can be slightly challenging during a rainy time

The Magical Teepee is wonderful. It is not for the person who wants luxury but takes you through how the red indians lived like. The place is too much for words, just unbelievable.

Clean, neat and such a cute place. Stargazing was absolutely amazing. Peaceful. Each teepee has it’s own bathroom, which is great not to share if there were others. Kitchen had more than enough appliances that one would need.

In the mornings, the trucks passing by, can be a bit noisy, but we were warm in bed, so fell asleep again quick. It’s very dark when there’s loadshedding. I would suggest making sure you have a few travel lamps or something extra.

The flooring base is a bit old and can be potentially dangerous... one of the slats broke when I stepped on it
