Fantastic little cottage further up the hill from the main part of town. Far enough for some quiet (you don't hear trucks compared to other times I have stayed almost on the main road), but close enough to pop out for dinner, do some shopping or go to the Mountain Zebra National Park. This is secondary to the efforts made by the host though. Hanna is excceptional about trying to make sure you get the best out of your time at Craddock. The help and advice I got during my stay was above and beyond reasonable expectations, even coming from a hospitatlity background many years ago! Thank you for the best experience on my travels around South Africa!

Spacious and exceptionally clean, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment so I could cook full meals. Hanna was absolutely lovely and communicated promptly, a very warm welcome and lovely chats to check in

The cottage is very clean and well equiped, the host is very friendly and helpful even though she had great personal loss she was still a perfect host. The cottage is great value for money with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay. Will stay there again whenever in Cradock.

Hanna, received me very nicely and opened the gate for me. You can park right in front of the little house and the gate is lockable. I had burnt some toast and it was very smoky. Hanna, was cool and the smoke cleared quickly thanks to the fans. Nothing is missing in the flat. If there is something special, Hanna is on hand with help and advice. Top, would come again!

With my late arrival and check-in I was received by a friendly and helpful hostess. The place is very cosy, clean with everything and more I thought I would need. Bonus was having electricity during loadshedding, Unfortunately as of loadshedding I could not get access to any Wi-fi due to poor signal.

It would be great if the gate has automatic access and the security gate locks. Given that were new in the area this would have given us an extra sense of safety. But everything else was just as advertised. Nothing out of place.

The host was there to meet us. She was very warm and explained everything clearly. The shower was hot on arrival (which is a big with SA loadshedding), very considerate of the host to have it prepared for us. The kitkat was a sweet touch.

There was nothing I didn't like!

I spent one, very pleasant, night at the Nook. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very well equipped, including bottled drinking water. There is plenty of space for two people including luggage (and in my case, a bicycle) with a dining/lounge area. The bed is very comfortable (with an electric blanket for cold nights!) and right next to the shower (which has plenty of hot water). There is also WiFi and, very important, a Jojo tank and an inverter with good battery storage to guard against the unpredictable water and electricity supplies. The hostess is exceptionally pleasant and very knowledgeable about Cradock and the surrounding areas and was even able to direct me to vegan-friendly restaurants (something I did not expect). There is off-street parking right next to the entrance and a driveway for bigger (or more than one) vehicles. I will happily stay there again.

What a little gem. Neat, clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with a hot shower every time. The Wifi was excellant and we never struggled with reception. The host made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our stay. This apartment is higly recommended and we will always go back there if we can.

Of course, load shedding is an issue throughout ZA. But our host went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, even without power. The back up power provided tv and some lighting!

Everything was fantastic and our host took wonderful care of us!
