The WiFi is slow and often disconnects from the tv . It’s not great for streaming either and our programme would buffer for a while. The bed is uncomfortable with old linen - the linen is stained and no longer white , it’s yellow. We had arranged with the host for a later check out and informed the caretaker the first day we arrived . On the day of checkout - he reminded us that we need to check out by 10am even though the late check out was previously discussed . Had to remind him of this and it was then sorted. Apartment is a bit outdated and needs some TLC including the cleanliness of the unit - the remote and the bathroom . Suggest getting an airfryer or preparing some food in the oven so that it’s not so oily when pan fried. Should have hand lotion and hand soap in the bathroom.

Good location with quick access to surrounding areas and services. Made provisions for a later check out. Spacious apartment that has some amenities (better for short term stays as no stove or cooking unit in apartment). Multiple heaters and electric blankets available.

The breakfast was given as fry up with boerewors, eggs toast and baked beans. I'd have paid extra to have decent bread and butter and a choice of how my eggs were cooked with bacon instead. The eggs were greasy and so was the rest of the plate, the boerewors was a bit hard and dried out. The smaller bed in our room was a bit too soft and probably time for a replacement.

The manager was very welcoming and helpful and kind. The room was well appointed and the garden very pretty, we enjoyed the couples swing after a stressful week. It was wonderful to soak in the tub and the electric blanket and heater was handy. The big bed was very comfortable.

It’s a bed linen quality ,towels ,absent of milk choice for lactose intolerance guests ,same breakfast menu every morning otherwise it’s a very good place .

I have been loving staying in Pepper tree it’s very quite nearbouhood and Paul always good to his guests from way back that’s why I always chose to stay in Pepper tree instead of a hotel it’s warm and homely Ian was such a welcoming guy through out our stay making sure we are feeling comfortable at all times . What I would love to be improved is bed linen , towels and variety of breakfast options otherwise it’s a number one place to stay in .

Cleaning more, the white needs to be white, without visible dirt marks, I found blood on the duvet (was sorted, but owner pretended like it didn't matter the following morning, technically ignored us for the rest of our stay), the extra bed just took over the room and packing it away every morning was a nightmare, so it just stayed there, change the couch for a sleeper couch instead. Make breakfast more variety for people who are staying longer.

The backyard is very lovely, location nice and central. The manager and stuff were very nice.

I would recommend having an option of a flat pillow and a more puffed one as both were very flat.

We enjoyed the friendliness of the manager. Great location. Had a great time in the heated pool with our children. Lovely garden and spacious room.

frogs disturbing making a noise whole night.. no halaal breakfast . problem was a shared bathroom. of which booking.com never made me aware off.

The apartment was very comfortable and the room had a heater and electric blankets to keep warm. There is a great outdoor area to relax, good pool for warmer days and the manager is very accommodating and friendly ..

The weather . Wrong time of the year that we travelled . Couldn't use the pool or other outdoor facilities .

Pepper Tree Guest House was a good stop over . Very close to the Freeways and a pleasant place to stay . The staff were awesome . The breakfast was great!
