Words truly fall short in expressing how wonderful our experience was with Lise, our host. She reached out a week before our trip to ensure everything was in place, and throughout our stay, she consistently checked in each morning to see how we were doing. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality did not go unnoticed. The apartment was cozy and well-equipped with all the essentials, including thoughtful amenities to keep us warm during the chilly mornings and nights. During the day, it felt like a little ray of sunshine—a true haven. Thank you, Lise, for going above and beyond and making our stay truly memorable. ❤

The Stables on Drew Ave, was a delightful experiece, the room was up to standard and required all the necessary essentials needed. Lise the property host was extremely friendly and very accomodating to us during our stay. She was even kind as to allow us to use her private pool should we wanted to. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a modern yet cozy place to stay at in the Howick area.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues: * the bed was surprisingly uncomfortable and affected our quality of sleep and my back * No seating - there was just 1 chair so relaxation was impossible for 2 people * The bathroom gets wet after showering - I slipped and sprained my ankle. Huge hazard * No bathroom amenities - no shelf for shower gel/shampoo etc * There was no mirror in the room—there was a little one in the bathroom, but with the wet floor and steaming mirror, one could not even put on makeup, let alone ensure the "dress" was appropriate. * No hairdryer - thankfully I take mine along * Extremely limited crockery - No wine glasses * No Housekeeping - our rubbish stood for 2 days!

Location is the only thing going for this venue.

This is a new facility, and the owner needed some advice on what to have available for the comfort of guests, particularly in light of electricity and water supply problems. she has now introduce many improvements to overcome these shortcomings.

Space of room and the facilities. This is difficult to answer as when we arrived late at night, it was very cold, no electricity (except lights) and no water. In subsequent communication with the hostess, we suggested facilities we suggest she includes for the comfort of her guests. She has done the easy immediate things, like drinking water bottles in the fridge, some infrastructure things she is working on. When these have been installed this will be excellent accommodation.
