It is on the river a little way out of the town and the peace and beauty of the surroundings is a real bonus. The braai area and outdoor amenities (pool, good farm walks) are wonderful.

Host Gillian provided excellent written directions via WhatsApp before my arrival. Strong initial experience of Waterryk.. my apartment / room at Waterryk was very spacious with lounge and dining room plus a loft style 2nd bedroom. Bathroom is modern and large.. Bed was comfortable. Perfect for a family or group of friends. My stay was way too short to avail myself of the fabulous pool, landscape garden, outdoor patio and braai nor any walking along the river. Strong value for money!

The property access gate required us to remember a security code. We got used to it, but would have preferred a key fob style solution. The Coffee Press was old and corroded. It needs to be replaced.
The whole environment of the facility. The garden, the pool, the useable Braai. We would liked to have stayed longer, but there was no availability.

It really is a special place that offers you so much.”The only thing I could fault was in our apartment (the cheapest option) the stairs leading to the loft bedroom are exceptionally steep. I knew this from the pictures so I was aware and could manage these without an issue, but something but to be aware of. The stairs in all the other suites appeared to be fine and not as steep as ours. Still loved every minute of our stay and besides the stairs the suite was really lovely and spacious.
Amazing farm with a stunning pool, garden and scenery. Peaceful and calm with the river right across the road. Loved it.

Very comfortable self catering. There was fire wood, gas heater, electric blankets, coffee, tea, spices. Even a dehumidifier. The unit is also very spacious.

It was so beautiful and peaceful. The unit was well equipped with everything required - including the braai hout. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist.
