We had an amazing time at Titanic View. The facilities were top-notch — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything you could need was provided. The real highlight, though, was the host — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Highly recommended!

The only social seating area had a dining table and chairs, no couches to sit and relax on, but the host did mention that they were looking into that and looking at renovating to make the bathroom smaller (which is huge) and increase the living area for a lounge, which would be a big plus. The shower off the kitchen also leaked water quite a bit after showering, but was mopped up daily.

The host was very friendly and approchable and arrived as we checked into our accommodation to introduce himself. The gardens were absolutely immaculate and beautiful and the whole vibe was so peaceful and tranquil. The distance from accommodation to the main square was within walking distance which was great.

Everything from the simple check in process to the rooms and exquisite garden impressed us. When we come back to clarens there’s no doubt we’ll be back at this epic place.

The minute you enter the property you will fully understand why it is called Place of Peace. Serenity abounds and you have a surreal sense of being in tune with nature. The stunning views are breathtaking. We were in cottage 1 which was beautifully laid out, spacious and has everything needed for a peaceful, restful getaway. Location is also perfect everything is within walking distance so very convenient.

Astonishing view at the mountains and the beautiful garden. Modern look very good taste with lot of art in it. Close to hiking possibilities and to town. The very kind hosts have provided us with good tips in and around the town. The location is a spot of peace and very ideal to calm down and ‘reload the batteries’

Great accommodation. The hosts go through immense trouble in making sure everything is perfect. Their attention to detail is astonishing. The house was extremely clean, and it was like we arrived at an oasis. The garden is to die for, and after a long travel, I just laid down on the swing and slept. It was one of my alltime great experiences when travelling. The best word to describe the guesthouse is "Immaculate". I felt sad to leave, so good a stay it was.

If we stay in the future I would book another cottage rather than cottage number 2. As the owners live above the property it felt awkward sitting outside if they were also out on their deck. We were only there for two nights so it wasn't the end of the world, but we spent more time inside the room than we would have liked. The crockery is mismatched, and the towels are a little thin. The microwave overheats; it gets extremely hot and the food comes out lukewarm.

The location was great; we were literally a five minute walk into the centre of town. The garden was outstanding. The three dogs pottering about - they were so friendly.

Manie went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The facilities are amazing with breathtaking views. If you want a place of tranquility, look no further. Within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Will definitely go there again with our next visit.

Titanic View is hands-down one of the best stays we've ever had! Everything exceeded our expectations. The linen and bedding were top quality, adding a touch of luxury, and the living area was incredibly spacious, perfect for relaxing, watching TV, or enjoying a private braai on the patio. The place felt very private and secure, with minimal activity from other guests or owners around. The shower was fantastic—modern with strong water pressure. I also really appreciated the blackout curtains, which made for an excellent night's sleep. Huge thanks to Waldo and the team for a memorable stay your place can feature in Top Billing.
