We loved our stay at Trengwainton House. The peaceful garden, cozy fireplace, and quiet surroundings made it the perfect escape. The kitchen is well-equipped, and having a dishwasher was a big plus. The outside boma area was great for evening braais. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Hogsback!

The roads are very bumpy and poor in Hogsback so make sure your vehicle can handle dirt roads with pot holes. So beautiful there so worth visiting.

The house has a huge magical garden which my children loved!! Very charming and so peaceful. The house has a beautiful farm house charm to it with stunning windows!

Beautiful home in beautiful surroundings! This was not our first time at Trengwainton and definitely won't be our last! Great communication from the host. A suggestion would be to maybe add a Weber or other braai closer to the house. Although the fire pit is lovely, it is not ideal when it's a bit rainy or for the elderly guests.

Only one thing, I needed a hairdryer! Can't air dry hair at below 0 degrees!

Would have loved a wood braai on the beautiful large stoep. Braai g on the Weber is just not the same. Would have preferred an air fryer rather than the oven

We didn't like leaving Hogsback and Trengwainton.

We loved the home from home feeling with all the welcoming touches of flowers, local handmade chocolate, delicious coffee, cozy fires. A really magical home for families and guests visiting this charming mystical mountain destination. The spirit of the community is welcoming and friendly. The gardens were magnificent! Fantastic house with all the necessary amenities. Such a great layout and wide, open spaces with hammocks and a big lawn and fireplace. Loved it all.
