Breakfast was a bit underwhelming as it was greasy.

The room was well-equipped, with a large balcony and everything a guest needs. Vena helped us settle in well and was hospitable.

Small patches on the wall and bathroom door need to be cleaned, but otherwise, everything was clean and tidy.

The host and staff are friendly. They truly make your stay comfortable. It was a cold day, the staff made the room especially warm for us with a heater and electric blankets. They are also flexible in terms of accommodating special requests where they can. The area is safe with armed response and the outside has a pool and grass area for one to enjoy nature. It was my second visit, and I will definitely be using them again.

There were several issues with the room upon my arrival: 1. The main ceiling light was not working. While alternative small lights were provided initially, the main light was only fixed after two days. 2. The air conditioner was not functional, and a gas heater was offered as a substitute. 3. The jacuzzi was not working during my stay. Additionally, there was no refrigerator in the room itself—only one located on the lower floor, which was less convenient.

The place is lovely, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

There was nothing I did not like. The only challenging thing for me, was that the heating system is not central, but that is totally understandable, given the architectural characteristics of most houses in South Africa. The heated blankets in the bed make up for it.

Great location, peaceful and safe surroundings. It was soul soothing for me to be surrounded by nature, even though we were so close to Sandton.

I enjoyed my stay. The service was great, the rooms clean and the house was very neat and cosy. The host 'Vena' was an amazing woman who took care of all our needs and questions. Loved the garden and the views and especially loved playing with the resident Jack Russel 'Buddy'!

Warm reception & friendly staff including friendly resident dog. Tranquil setting & close to amenities. Beautiful place & very clean. Room with balcony & view, very spacious & ample cupboard space. Heated bathroo is quite nice. Would definitely recommend it & book again. Thank you Claire.

It would be nice if they had a smoking zone or rooms that are smoking friendly. At around midnight i could smell that someone close to my room was smoking which I didn’t like. The room were not as bug aa the pictures showed.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Tuscan, Venna was a very great host who made my stay enjoyable. The place was safe and quiet .

Do yourself a favor and use the massage option on the shower ! It was amazing it was my favourite part of my stay. The pool was clean and we were able to use the braai Stand that they have available on the property... it made our Braai experience amazing we didn't even want to leave the property !
