The entertainment facilities were not working. The pool table was broken and the there were no darts for the dart board. The road to get to the location is very long and bumpy especially if you don't have an SUV. It's not a simple in and out.

Our holiday at Umtamvuna View Cabanas was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabanas offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere surrounded by breathtaking views of the Umtamvuna River. The cabana was super cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Louis, the host, and his wife were very welcoming. We will definitely return soon. Luna was cool as well ! 😁

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like.

As we walked in the place was very neat and clean, had everything you could think of. Then as you walk through that view hits you.. took my breathe away.

The Cabanas is a lovely break away with all the comforts of home. Bigger than expected. The road is absolutely fine and even any small car could quite easily travel on it. Spotlessly clean with everything you need. Louis is a professional and helpful host. Thank you. We will return.

The drive towards the lodge was more challenging than expected. Lots of dirt road in less than ideal conditions, which has you second guessing wanting to come in and out more than you need to. Imagined as well the swimming pool area was more secluded from the rooms, but the units are all close together facing the pool so if outside privacy is important this may not be ideal for you.

The owner, Louis, is a wonderful chap, the room was large, and comfortably furnished. Also there's airconditioning! Outside area also wonderfully furnished with a big table and couches. The outside area, with pool and sloped gardens facing lush greenery and mountains was also beautiful.

The cabana was so sweet and really beautifully decorated. Brilliant setup for longer stays with a full kitchen. Bedroom is lovely and the bed so comfortable. Set in such a beautiful part of the country. Stunning views of the Umtamvuna river. Our hosts were so welcoming and we will definitely be back.

I only didn't like the gravel road needed to get there but once you drive a couple of times on it then you get used to it.

The view from the pool was beautiful overlooking a luscious green forest. It was a very serene and quiet environment. The place was very neat, clean and comfortable. Very nicely styled. My kids loved the bunk beds and the library. The owners were very friendly as well.
