Mologa River Lodge has been exquisitely redone — the perfect blend of bushveld charm and luxurious comfort. My husband and I experienced the ultimate in romance and relaxation during our stay. It truly felt like a honeymoon getaway! The attention to detail throughout the lodge is remarkable, and the staff are exceptional — warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile to make your stay special. From the decor to the thoughtful touches, everything was flawless. Just a short drive from Pretoria, yet it feels like a world away. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature — the ideal romantic weekend escape. We’ll definitely be back!

It is unfortunate that the lodge is situated away from Dinokeng reserve and does not feature any of the Big Five.

The location within a beautiful landscape and in a very quit place. The limited number of accommodations helps to relax in a peaceful environment. The staff is really nice, smiling and attentive. Particular thanks and appreciation to our host Andre who was constantly keen on fulfilling our needs.

The supreme suites don’t come with gowns and slippers which was disappointing for an establishment of this calibre

Lovely location. The staff were all very helpful and both dinner and breakfast was excellent. The rooms were well thought out and very comfortable. The bar/ dining area was very good.

Quad biking, the wasn’t alot of animals and the riding was too rocky.. they should consider including picnic in the bushes as a 15 minutes break during quad biking

We Loved Everything! An absolute Gem! Excellent location 1 hour from Pretoria. Magnificent setting next to river with great facilities. Fantastic setting with Luxurious private suites. Friendly service from attentive staff! Lovely food & good drinks selection.

The kitchen closes in the afternoon which might have been due to the place not being very busy. However, they kindly offered to make sandwiches for us which was very considerate. It would be great if they reconsidered keeping the kitchen open in the afternoon as guests checking in during that time might be hungry.

The place was impeccably clean with friendly staff who were always attentive and ready to assist. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, offering breathtaking views from the pool. The room with the jacuzzi provided an amazing view of the river and all the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was consistently outstanding, making it a truly delightful experience.
