Living room sofas and couches could be better. They are not comfortable at all. A big screen TV would also help, especially when trying to wind down the day.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Victoria falls. Great staff, great location, great assistance with bookings to attractions. I will recommend it to friends and relatives without hesitation.

Lovely stay at Chitiva's Guesthouse, very good reception from Herbert & kept checking on us. Herbert also helped us to book activities. Facilitate is tidy, spacious & warm. Kids loved the pool. Air con in all bedrooms made it even special. It would have been better if sofas were more comfortable & more options for breakfast. I would recommend the Guesthouse. ,

While aircon was in each bedroom it wasn't in the main living area (lounge/ dining) so everyone had to retreat to their bedrooms.

The space of the house - the staff were extremely friendly. Laundry done without a complaint; breakfast was personally served. Swimming pool was good

The swimming pool needs to be fenced and secured for children safety. Also needs flat shower recess for the older citizens.

The driver who took us to Vic Falls town from Kasane in Botswana had a hard time finding the property when we first arrived, so I would recommend providing detailed instructions directly to guests before they arrive. While we appreciated Herbert's advice on activities and dining and connecting us with a great driver who we used to drive us around Vic Falls, it would be ideal for the owners/staff to be fully prepared to discuss all the possible activities that tourists might want to engage in, and where and how to reserve them, with inside tips on the best tour guides and companies. For example, it was only on the last day, when the driver was taking us to the airport, that it came to light that we could also have hired him to be our tour guide at Victoria Falls itself, rather than the mediocre tour company through which we ended up booking those tours (via the intermediary Viator). We made the decision to book a Vic Falls tour because we wanted to visit both sides, which is more complicated because you have to cross the border, go through Zim and Zambia border formalities, and then go some distance from the border post in Zambia up to the Zambian national park. This was fairly logistically involved -- e.g., the Zim tour guide and driver handed us over to a Zambian tour guide and driver and then met up with us again when we were done on the Zambian side -- and I didn't want to try to figure out the logistics and the transportation myself, particularly with children in tow. If you stay on the Zim side, you definitely don't need to pay money for a tour guide if all you're doing is going to the park, for which the entry fees are already exorbitant. Beware also that at least if your cell phone is with a U.S. provider, roaming probably won't work in Vic Falls (even on the Zambian side), presumably for lack of an agreement with local carriers. The wifi at Chitova's Guesthouse was reliable and fast and helped make up for the lack of cell service.

This is a very spacious house in the Aerodrome neighborhood of Victoria Falls town, about two miles from the national park and the border with Zambia. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms are available to guests, which far exceeded our needs (two adults and two kids, aged 9 and 11) but we appreciated all the space. The beds were comfortable and the A/Cs in each bedroom worked well. The pool was clean, with a nice waterfall, and very refreshing as the temperature exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day. To get to the touristy part of town and the national park, you really need to take a taxi or have a driver unless you have your own car. There was a housekeeper who cooked us delicious breakfast each day.

Only observation. Two off fans in living room would be more efficient and useful by replacement with Air Con.

Very large and comfortable Villa with many bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities. Also a very large living room and kitchen. Air Con in all bedrooms. A clean and well kept pool on the property. Breakfast provided and Villa and grounds very secure, although area is very safe and locals are also very friendly. Wifi is very good also. Just a short taxi ride from Victoria falls, the Town and boarder crossing to Zambia. Many good restaurants also a short taxi ride away. Also arrangements for Safari’s and other tours easily arranged with the property Manager Herbert, who was very communicative, pleasant and helpful. Always easily accessible and a very nice person. Couldn’t recommend the property any higher than I do. Excellent.
