Fantastic staff and super helpful. Great extra large comfortable bed. Sunning bathroom with everything you need. Slightly out of town but just 2 min by taxi. Reception arranged a wonderful sunset cruise, well worth it. Highly recommended.

The property is beautiful and cozy. It is very clean and well kept and you could be happy just sitting in the lobby or around the pool as the ambience is relaxing and soothing.

In Vic Falls constantly being hassled by locals to buy things, including fake money

Location was great and couldn't fault Shongwe Oasis. Accommodation, Food and facilities were great. Probably only need 3-4 nights max in Vic Falls, although trip to Chobe National Park was amazing.

That the water was not hot in the bathroom for showers and bathing

Absolutely beautiful property really wonderful staff and absolutely beautiful accommodations. Pretty good Wi-Fi. Really great delicious breakfast options and really good lunch and dinner options and it was very nice that you could go next-door to enjoy the lookout and rooftop for happy hour. The only reason I didn’t give them a perfect rating is that the water was not hot in the bathroom. So showering in lukewarm water was not fun. But besides that I loved everything else about my stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again, particularly in the summer months when it’s hotter and the lukewarm water would not be as much of an issue

We loved it all.

Shongwe Oasis is a tranquil Oasis, well worth a few nights stay. The rooms are stunning, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed is so comfortable and enormous. The pool area is stunning and breakfasts and dinners are delicious. We loved the cocktails at the Lookout. The staff are employed for their smiles, they were lovely people, so helpful and friendly We wish we could have stayed longer and are sad that Victoria Falls and especially Shongwe Oasis is such a long way from Australia.

The facilities are beautiful and the staff are amazing. The room is super comfortable. We had already scheduled our activities prior to arriving at the hotel, but they were so helpful with helping us get transportation and with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and they are so flexible if you arrange an early or packed breakfast if you have an early pickup. Happy Hour in the lookout tower was so beautiful and relaxing as well!

It was a lovely experience. We learned so much about the history and culture of the Ndebele tribe during our trip. The staff were very knowledgeable and kind. All of our needs were met to perfection. I am forgetting the names of staff but the receptionists were just so lovely. I have no bad things to say. Thank you Shongwe.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. The room was fantastic. Enjoyed the outside shower. The staff where exceptional. The front office were super helpful when it came to booking us a taxi and giving us advice.

The information about the activities we signed up for was a bit limited before our arrival, but once we were there, we got great information about all the activities.

Beautiful place, nice room, amazing food, and many activities nearby. The hotel helped arrange airport pickup and dropoff, and activities with external providers. We enjoy our stay very much!

the only thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that in the end I had to pay again for the services that I had paid for earlier. the receptionists change very often, if you pay for something to one person, then apparently it is not recorded anywhere.

I had an amazing experience at The Shongwe Oasis. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in quick and easy. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The hotel amenities, including the pool and on-site restaurant, were excellent. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh pastries and delicious options. Overall, exceptional service and a great stay—I’ll definitely return!

Pool too small.

The best food ever, really great menu selection. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and made all the coordinations for the elephant sanctuary and the Zambezi dinner cruise.
