Clean and cosy. Lovely modern African decor. Staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about what to do in the area. They would even book any events on your behalf and sort transportation.

This is a very well maintained, stylish and peaceful boutique hotel. My room had everything I needed, the breakfasts were just great, and beautifully served too. The territory is very clean, you can tell that it's taken good care of. But the most exceptional thing about this place is the staff. I don't remember when I've encountered such friendly and genuine service last time. Everyone - from the gardener and cleaners, to the restaurant chef and the receptionist, were just a perfect example of the great service that speaks for itself. Busi (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was just fantastic - she was helping me with my tour reservations, making sure that I leave and return to the hotel in time, double checking with the providers, and generally going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and safe. I hope the owners of this place are reading these reviews, and I hope they know how lucky they are with her! Great experience, I will be gladly recommending this place to my friends, should they decide to come to Vic Falls.

United KingdomInsects, which we don’t blame the property - it’s jus the terrain and season. They did great providing insect repellents and mosquito nets - that was exceptional. As I am vegan I wish to see an improvement on vegan options on the menues and also tea amenities and cookies in the rooms would be a nice touch.

Location, less than 3km walk to town centre. Staff go over and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. Busi and Norma are stars. Great food thank you chef! And there’s a clean usable pool. Mr Mudenda ( shuttle service) was professional and very knowledgeable, drives not a new car but it’s cleaned up real good. Will definitely use this again.

South AfricaCan the venue owner ensure that a card machine in good working is available at all times. At check out, I was unable to settle my F&B bill or tip the staff due to card machine not working. The taxi driver had to drive me to draw cash but as a South African drawing USD from a ZAR bank account, cash is VERY expensive and not ideal as I am limited in the amount I could withdraw.
As a solo female traveller, I found this property to be private and peaceful, located in the suburbs of Vic Falls. The staff are what made this entire stay enjoyable. Anita, Progress, Mavusa (apologies I may be spelling incorrectly) and, of course the chef. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This is an exceptionally hard-working team. The property is about a 10/15 min drive to town so ensure you have a reliable taxi operator. I was very fortunate that the staff at Telescope arranged Nsonto at Shalom Taxis, whom I highly recommend.
