The property was very close to the port, about a 7 minute walk. It’s right next to the famous movie theater and the house of Bouboulina, a Greek female war hero. It was a very easy walk to the port, public bus to the beaches, and shops/restaurants. The villa was perfectly clean and a very modern, comfortable room. The AC was great and I had a small balcony to dry my clothes. The bathroom was very modern with a wonderful shower! As a solo female traveler, I felt so safe here. The owner, Lia, could not be kinder. I can’t wait to come back!

Our two pleasant days on Spetse island have been made more memorable by this lovely hotel. The lady of the house is particularly friendly and gracious with her warm and welcoming heart. When I return to this beautiful Greek island, this will be the hotel I choose again to stay at.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. I also loved the fact that it was possible to order breakfast to the room, which was very nice. With good food and an amazing view, it was the best start of the day! The location was also very good, in between the old and new port, so you could walk easily everywhere. It is also located in the centre of Spetses, so it was great for some shopping as well. The hotel is very clean and well maintained with nice beach vibes. We really loved our stay.

Kastro Hotel je malý rodinný podnik a je zařazen jako tradiční hotel kategorie. Excellent staff and facilities. On check out day our Ferry wasn’t until 4pm and the staff let us stay in our room until that time which was very kind of them. Breakfast was amazing with lots of homemade jams and fruits as well as fresh cooked eggs. Definitely recommend this place if you love a chilled out friendly vibe.
