From the moment you arrive at the front gate, till u walk into the foyer area , and looking to the left where the lounge area is , the big window/balcony area— you see the postcard view , right there. Stunning. The view , the rooms, the meals, onsen were all very good. Staff very nice and helpful. On the day we left they still gave us a token/pass for their carpark and cafe at the main tourist area. 10/10 . Would really want to visit again.

Location- The hotel itself and the surrounding area are beautiful. There is a nice beach and woodland walk next to the hotel. It is quiet and a nice break away from the hussle and bussle of the cities in Japan. Train station is around a 5 min walk. Staff- Very friendly & helpful with the majority speaking fairly good English. Public Baths- The male public baths were spotless and also include a sauna and cold plunge pool. Attention to detail- As with all of Japan, the rooms were extremely clean. The room had a great balcony looking onto a wooded area. I would suggest a 2 night stay to be able to fully enjoy the hotel and surrounding area.

Clearly one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan. Very cute traditional Japanese rooms and beautiful views, big rooms, nice onsen, that I could use after hours because of my tattoos (They’re very agreeable). Close to Ine fishing village, the téléphérique and Amanohashidate! Also the staff is literally the nicest people on earth!

The room was lovely and spacious, and the ocean view was so beautiful especially with the birds flying by. The staff were helpful and the cleaning staff especially were very friendly. The hot springs in the hotel made the quite expensive one night cost much more worth it. The hotel is also right by the station which was very important for me.

It was my first time in a ryokan and I loved to stay there. Sadly it was only for one night. Since the building is old the sanitaries are old fashioned as well, but this adds to the charme of the ryokan in my opinion. The garden view was beautiful and the onsen was very relaxing. The elderly lady at the reception was extraordinarily kind. I can highly recommend staying there, I came here after my trip to Amanohashidate, it is only one station away by train.

This place is for those who want to try a very traditional Ryokan. Futons on tatami matting and a traditional onsen (shared hot tub). There is also a small hot tub in the room. The family have been running it for 13 generations. It is designated museum as they keep it as traditional as is possible. Our room gave onto a delightful Japanese garden just in from the coast and was very tranquil. This is not for people looking for modern conveniences.

The room was in good condition. I liked the fact that it was a Japanese tatami room and the yukata was prepared, making it fun for foreigners to travel. The table in the room was also large, so it was good to eat.
