We slept with the windows open for cool air, listening to the river. The staff were friendly and helpful, a really wonderful owner. We loved being greeted by a kitty and watching them enjoy the property! We enjoyed the private onsen. The hotel is clean, and they sell food for a reasonable price; considering how hard it is to find combines around, this is very convenient. Staff are very friendly and provide excellent customer service, even though our children were not the quietest of guests. The kotatsu in the room was perfect for a winter stay in the mountains.
