Very relaxing experience. The hotel location is amazing. It is walkable within 2 3mins of the Gero station but there is also an available shuttle bus at Gero station if u have too many luggages. The breakfast spread is fabulous too with many varieties of japanese dish in bite sizes portions to try out, help with preventing food wastage also. Surrounded by breathtaking nature on the outskirts of Gero, this ryokan provides a very authentic Japanese onsen experience. It was a joy to bathe in the thermal waters in the private bath in our room, as well as the public indoor and outdoor baths. The view from the room was amazing. All style dress in traditional kimono or yukata. They have staff who speaks English. Very organised check in process, you can tell they are well verse in receiving big volumes of guests.
