Shunko, her husband and her parents were the most welcoming hosts - so friendly, kind and warm. I enquired about eating dinner there and when I arrived at 7.45pm in the evening, they had prepared a beautiful Japanese meal. They also asked me to put a cute little sticker on their world map to show where I had come from :) The room reminds me of my grandparents home, so warm and homely. It came with a private wash-basin and toilet, with a bath and shower outside the room. Shunko's father was kind enough to take me to Takeda Castle Ruins in the morning 🥺 and then I came home to a beautiful Japanese breakfast. It was one of my most memorable and enjoyable stays in Japan, the family said that they have had this bed and breakfast for over 100 years - and I can see why, it is run with so much love! Could not recommend more ❤️ i am half Japanese so speak Japanese, but they can speak some English for any foreigners.
