The staff are extremely helpful, be it with recommendations for restaurants or reservations. The Japanese breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet side street about 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Bus and train are nearby. The private Onzen next to the bath room guarantees a relaxing break after a full day of sight seeing.

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. This was the second time we've stayed at Luck You and we know for sure that we'll be back again in the future. It is the most wonderful place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, extremely comfortable and have everything you could need. The breakfast is lovely and everyone was so helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We're looking forward to coming back!

Hotel Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei se nachází 10 minut chůze od živé čtvrti Kawaramachi a nabízí moderní japonské ubytování. V přízemí je k dispozici přepážka s turistickými informacemi a bar. Ubytování se nám moc líbilo, pokoj byl čistý a hezký. Koupelna prostorná. Měli jsme i balkón. Spaní bylo pohodlné. Kousek od hotelu byla vlaková stanice, lékárna a obchody. Pokoj se pravidelně uklízel. Personal příjemný, vždy úsměv na tváři. Hotel byl v dobré lokalitě a byl zde klid. Hotel nabízel různé aktivity. Nemám co bych vytkla.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Lovely family-run ryokan with a truly kind and charming owner. Good and tasty dinner on our first night. The breakfast was also very copious and impressive. First time i slept in a futon bed but it was surprisingly comfortable. We loved our stay here. It was also very well located.

高野山 宿坊 恵光院 -Koyasan Syukubo Ekoin Temple- nabízí japonské ubytování v 1000 let starém buddhistickém chrámu s krásnou zahradou a Wi-Fi zdarma. Amazing place to stay, extremely recommended. A really great experience in general - I stayed in one of the suites and could not have asked for a more relaxing and peaceful place to stay, only a short walk from Okunoin Cemetary and an easy walk to the rest of town. Very close to the bus stop from Koyasan Station. Staff were always helpful and the meals were unbelievably delicious and satisfying, even though I needed to ask for a soy-free modification. The best food I ate during my stay!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. We only stayed one night but it was worth it. We were looking into a traditional Ryokan experience and that’s what we received. The complete staff was super kind, they welcomed us, received our bags before check in and later when we came up they welcomed us with tea and local sweets. In the night we had our kaiseki dinner (13 courses) it was a lot but definitely an experience to remember. Not good tho for sensitive paladars, be prepared to eat everything. The girl who served as our host was super nice and explained us everything. The private bath was also a highlight. We loved every second.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato se nachází v destinaci Ikoma a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Iwafune Shrine je 8,8 km daleko. This was a very nice change from the urban hotels during our travels around Japan. The proprietress is very charming and the breakfast prepared for us was very intricate with many Japanese foods. Sleeping and bathing traditional Japanese style is also something worth experiencing. To get there from Nara, take the train from Kintetsu Nara to Ikoma station where you can take the tramway up. You can just as quickly reach Ikoma station from Osaka. We visited in September and the last tram up was at 11pm. There was a restaurant open near the ryokan until 10pm (Indonesian). And if you are able to do some stairs, I highly recommend a visit in the morning to the temple complex above the ryokan. Keep following the steps above the first temples and you will find yourself on a truly magical path.
