It’s a beautiful villa with the most courteous and lovely staff. From the facade, to the lobby, to the room it’s a 10/10. We had beautiful good quality kimono’s to use in the room also. The details are absolutely everywhere in the room. Lastly as it was my birthday they surprised me upon my late return to the hotel with some delicious matcha cakes. Gave us an umbrella as well for the rain. Just wonderful!

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. The dinner and breakfast tasted so good, best vegan meal I’ve ever had! Very nice room felt very traditional. It snowed so made our time even funner! The meditation with the monks was awesome and the location is also very perfect!

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. The family who owns the place for generations is super nice, the matcha tea ceremony was such a meditative thing to see. We had a wonderful experience, we just wish we would have booked their dinner early enough. s So definitely ask about it when booking.
