The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.

The stay was very nice, the room was cozy and the opportunity to visit the onsen across the street was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and we had no problem communicating in English.

Located in the sacred Koyasan area, Saizenin offers simple accommodation surrounded by mountains and many temples. Peace and quiet. Staff was very good. Food was really amazing.

This was my favorite hotel. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was sick from food poisoning and could not enjoy it to the max, but the staff was extremely good to me. I cannot thank them enough. The futon beds were extremely comfortable, all the structure really took me back to almost 200 years ago. I really wanted to get the traditional breakfast, but I was too sick so I got the western one that was delicious. Cant wait to be back.

The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
