Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. This ryokan offers a truly authentic experience in a fantastic location. I highly recommend booking both breakfast and dinner if possible, as it enhances the overall experience. Set in Yamanakako in the Yamanashi region, Hanamizuki offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This 2-star ryokan offers a garden. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. We loved this place! Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Google translator helped us to communicate. It's a hotel with traditional Japanese rooms with futons and shared bathrooms. I would recommend booking with breakfast and dinner! The food they prepared was delicious. To hotel is just a short walk away from the lake with the most beautiful view onto Mt Fuji. The hotel had plenty of parking and the whole building was spotless. We loved our stay there and would absolutely come back

A hot tub and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests.

Guests can take advantage of the warm weather with the property's barbecue facilities. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. Koike-san greeted and picked our family up from the station which was great as it was raining. His house has a very warm, homely feel run by him and his wife. My 2yo son loved the experience of making your own futon bed and getting served a light breakfast in the morning. The room did get cold in the night but the futons and blankets kept us surprisingly warm & cosy. It's about a 20min walk to the station area but you can walk along the lake which is nice and scenic. There's also shops and restaurants about 5mins walk from the house. Overall we loved the experience and it was great value, we would recommend to others and will come back again next time.
