I have chosen the Ryokan randomly and was the best choice I would have taken. 100% recommend it and will come back again with another group.

The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. All rooms include a private bathroom with a bath and bidet, with bathrobes and slippers provided. Exceptional hotel with, great design, you feel the feeling of old Japanese houses, but the facilities are modern and comfortable as it combines the modern design of the buildings with the old design of Kyoto. The room is somewhat small and we were 3 people, but the room arrangement was excellent and we did not feel cramped. The staff and crew are very friendly and their treatment is high-end, as soon as we arrived, we were received and welcomed with old Japanese customs, tea was served, and good treatment and style. Since we are Muslims, they prepared breakfast, especially for us which does not contain any pork derivatives. They have a baggage shipping service from city to city. I would especially like to thank the employee (Hiorna Kumo) she was very cooperative.

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staff were exceptional, so helpful and gave lots of tips for things to do. We especially liked the warm welcome every evening we arrived back to the ryokan . The interior feels really authentic Japanese and it was fantastic to experience a traditional Japanese room to sleep. The ryokan was so close to most of the major sites and metro/train stations. We cannot recommend this ryokan enough. A rating of 10 is not high enough!

Seikoro Ryokan is located in Kyoto, a 7-minute drive from JR Kyoto Station. Featuring traditional Japanese-style accommodation, it offers a public bath and massage services. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the entire property. Staying at Seikoro Ryokan was a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and exceptional hospitality. We enjoyed an exquisite 8-course Japanese dinner, featuring the freshest fish and beautifully presented dishes, followed by a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast the next morning. Sleeping in the traditional style, on comfortable floor mattresses, added to the authenticity and charm of the stay. The room was perfectly air-conditioned and overlooked a serene and beautifully maintained zen garden, offering a sense of peace and calm. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—yukata robes provided for dinner and the onsen, as well as comfortable sleepwear. Thank you once again for such a wonderful and memorable stay. We hope to return one day!

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. An exceptional ryokan with outstanding service and incredibly polite staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and very private. Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.
