Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The hotel is very good situated in Takayama, near the train station and also near the old city. The staff is extremely helpful and nice (even that they almost speak no English). The room was big and well equipped. The Onsen is very nice. Dinner was superb with all kind of Japanese plates. The staff explained every thing what it was and how we were supposed to eat it, everything was served in a beautiful way.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. The location was perfect for us. Staff are very helpful. Amazing Ramen place the other side of the bridge. Best in Ito.

Is like the Onsen amusement park! The place is incredible! So many services!! Everything is just amazing; the town, the hotel, the room, the baths… they even allow you to check the bath of another hotel, in case you did not have enough! I have been in many Ryokan and this was TOP!

33 km from Koibito Misaki Cape in Shimoda, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ provides accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and open-air bath. Beautiful accomodation. Nice, clean and comfortable. We loved the wooden smell and enjoyed the private bath. The breakfast was delicious. Easy to get to with a car. Self check in and check out process was smooth to do especially as we arrived late. Should have stayed another night or made sure to arrive early to properly enjoy the accomodation.

Syukaen Yunohanazen asub Atamis, 27 km kaugusel Hakone-Yumoto jaamast, 29 km kaugusel Shuzen-ji templist ja 43 km kaugusel Daruma mäest. Excellent services, top-rated cuisine and panoramic sea views are the lasting impressions during our stay in Room 608 from Feb 11 - 12, 2025. Our special thanks goes to the very nice male staff who render his efficient services in table-setting for the many dishes of traditional Japanese cuisines, both for dinner and breakfast. He guided us the unique flavors of each type of food and the best way of eating with various sauces and condiments. He took the initiative to give us pamphlets about the sight-seeing spots nearby. We took his advice and did another hour of touring to learn more about Atami. It was a very hospitable and warming journey we had had with this hotel. Thank you for the very kind services of all the dedicated staff as well.

The room was very accommodating, the onesns were amazing, we didn't have many other guests so we entered whenever we wanted

Hiljuti renoveeritud neljatärnihotell Iroriyado Hidaya asub Takayamas, Takayama jaamast 1,6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum ja privaatne parkla. Amazing accommodation and super friedly staff. They helped us introducing japanese culture, understand purpose of various items in Japan and spent a lot of time with us explaining. It was a very japanese stay. They even prepared an excellent vegetarian breakfast, having both japanese and western style versions. Highly recommended for families.
