Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu is situated a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Subway Station, near Nakamise-dori Street and Senso-ji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station provides direct access to Ueno, Shibuya and Ginza areas, and also to the Narita and Haneda international airports. Everything was great, amazing hospitality, perfect location. Very clean

This 3-star ryokan offers a lift and full-day security. The ryokan offers a hot tub and luggage storage space. Overall, such a unique experience. The attention to detail, professionalism and genuine care of staff made this a wonderful stay! And the traditional breakfast…wow! Even the teenagers loved it. Dinner at the associated restaurant was also delicious. After a long day, it was helpful to have reservations and a short, beautiful walk to unwind. We will definitely return to stay here.

Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan also offers facilities for disabled guests. This was one of my favorite accomodations in Japan. Out of all the budget 5 person accomodations we booked, miraculously the one in Tokyo ended up being what I thought to be the best deal. The host was exceptionally nice, he explained everything patiently and he was very happy to see I could understand a little Japanese which made explanations easier too. There were two bikes that we could use, a paid laundry right next door, and many extra amenities. In particular, the host left a massive amount of free snakes in the fridge and freezer as well as some cup ramen which was really generous and thoughtful of him. I was a big fan of the wardrobe rooms and in fact, it was the thing that caught my attention as it was basically identical to the kind of room the character Kagura stays in one of my favorite shows Gintama. On the topic of anime, there are a lot of funny Doraemon decorations and Doraemon inspired amenities that definitely added to the charm of this very clean and nicely located inn (5-10 minute walk from the Asakusa and Ginza lines).

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. The property is set 3.5 km from Edo Tokyo Museum, 6 km from Marunouchi Building and 6 km from Yasukuni Shrine. Free WiFi is available. I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. Such a warm welcome It was a very short stay for me but I was touched how beautifully everything is organized. The room is minimalistic but features everything that you need, and the hearty people are always there to help you out with any inquiry. Liked the food map of the area as well. In the Edogawa district of Tokyo, close to Shapo Koiwa Shopping Mall, Ryokan Fuji has a garden and a washing machine. This 2-star ryokan offers luggage storage space. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Traditional Japanese accommodation, I felt at home and the AC is perfect. I loved everything about this.

Set in the heart of Tokyo, 100 metres from Asakusa Public Hall, Ryokan Mikawaya offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. This 2-star ryokan offers a lift. The property is non-smoking and is situated 400 metres from Asakusa ROX Shopping Center. A little traditional ryokan in the heart of Asakusa. The room may have been not the biggest, but it had everything I needed - tatami, futon, yukata and let's not forget the gorgeous view of the city and the Tokyo Skytree from the 4th floor. The staff was very nice too and I would like to come back in the future!
