What an amazing place.
What an amazing place. A must visit for all especially if you like your history. Please visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, Schindlers factory, The Salt mines , Mountain spars, and the museum under the square, We choose a golf cart tour bought from Crakow tours and this was better and far cheaper than buying it off the street. A flat cobblestone city so take flat shoes., but it’s very easy to find your way around. Please use the park that was the city walls as it’s beautiful and can get you anywhere. It was incredibly clean and not one pothole. A very safe place , it puts us British to shame . Very nice accommodating people , very polite. It was expensive in the old town especially on the square but not excessively so ( be aware of service charges in some places) I wasn’t overly keen on the food as it was very carbohydrate heavy and meat heavy. I visit Krakow regularly, I love the city, every time I go it changes in some form or other, this visit I noticed how clean and tidy the streets and many renovated buildings in the centre. New shops and restaurants and the same bustling crowds on a lovely sunny weekend. Pubs and cafes some old some new and the beer was as good as always. I stayed only for 5 days along with some studies and enjoyed my stay visiting old town, riverside and the beautiful centre. I cannot wait for my next visit

Easy location, if you stay around Krakow you can walk...
Easy location, if you stay around Krakow you can walk everywhere although there are horse & carriage and small buggy rides to take you sightseeing. If you want to go further afield the tram/trains and buses are an easy option. The river boat was also a very pleasant trip

Krakow was wonderful.
Krakow was wonderful. Our accomodation was only 100 yards from the Main Square on SW Anny. We visited the Wieliczka salt mines which are fascinating and well worth a visit. We also went to Schindler's Factory where the museum is excellent. We enjoyed a 30 minute boat trip and wandered around the Jewish Quarter where we had a great meal and listened to musicians playing typical folk music. The Main Square in the Old Town was magnificent and we loved walking along and through The Planty. The Old Palace and Cathedral on Wawel Hill are also very impressive.AllisonUnited Kingdom

I had an unexpected dental issue and he called his own dental clinic, explained my situation and was able to get me an appointment the same morning. The hotel room was actually a spacious and spotless suite. No restaurant on the premises, but many options just a few blocks away. We also organised tours through the hotel and can highly recommend their suggestions for an all-day tour to Auschwitz as well as the 1.5 hour tour of Krakow by electric golf cart.

The location is FANTASTIC, as are the restaurant recommendations the hosts left on a leaflet in the room. You are on the old town city centre doorstep (3 minutes) without the tourist noise, and no more that 16 minutes away from all the best places of interest around the centre, and the Jewish Quarter the other direction down the road.
