Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day. The archeology and the museums are the main attraction. The bus service is superb and within walking distance of the old town. Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive. Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Buses to visit Lindos are good for a day out. Be aware that there are cats everywhere. Also cruise ships passengers make the streets packed.

I enjoyed everything! Easy to get around, with beauty around each corner. Such an amazing place to go, with nightlife, shopping, history, friendly shopkeepers, family-friendly and kid-friendly places and near the newer metropolis. This boutique hotel is a gem! We stayed in Temple of Apollo suite which makes you feel you are living inside a temple. What a perfect name for the suite! The staff made us feel like home by giving a warm welcome and aswering all of our questions about Rhodes city. We give a 5 start to the breakfast. Do not forget to try Vaso's omelettes!! We will be back to give another 10/10. Well deserved.
