Fantastic value for money. Great location, near the best noodle shop on the island. Good amenities, basic bathroom but has everything you need. Nice little balcony shared between two rooms, which gave us an opportunity to socialise.

Peaceful lace to stay with lovely white sand beaches and warm sea which is easy to swim in.
Depending on where you stay on the island, (there are lots of small beaches all good, ) will depend on what services are available. since where we stayed had several resorts we ate a a different one each night. Bear in mind though this is an island and all food supplies etc are delivered from the main land so choices are limited.
although you can hire a Motorbike we found that the taxi worked well for us we did an island tour by taxi but you can also do it by boast. Most beaches have a taxi station. There is only one village in Koh Samed near the main pier.

Limited attractions unlike some other islands I have visited. Taxis are quite expensive but easy to walk to bars snd restaurants via the beach Beautiful island and wonderful beaches but plastic washed up with the tide every day. Helpful friendly people everywhere.
Ferries are very busy especially at weekends.

This is a small island with lots of small beaches, we stayed at one but visited others. We did a half island tour by Taxi. This is a great way to see the other beaches and some of the scenic spots. The taxi costs between 1,000 - 20000 bahts so its best to go as a group to reduce the individual costs/ We also did a boat tour of nearby islands with snorkeling and lunch. Need some energy to keep getting on and off the boat..but a good way to experience the islands.
Be aware you have to pay to enter the island as its national park and to visit other islands there is additional cost so hang on to your tickets if you intend to visit other isalnds.

The beaches were beautiful, and water is clear lovely for swimming. The only disappointment was the rubbish you saw away from the resorts as it’s a National Trust island they should use the money they collect from visitors in making it look cleaner.

The island felt too crowded and too empty at the same time... Felt very tourist-y, even compared to Bangkok. More expensive, a lot of people. Even though it is a "small" island, it is not easy to walk anywhere, especially if staying at a hotel further away from busy location. I would recommend Rayong!

It is a beautiful beach and a great atmosphere.
It is a beautiful beach and a great atmosphere. There where a good mix of families, singles couples. The fire show was one of the highlights from my month in Thailand. It was a spur of the moment trip from the Hard Rock where I was staying in Pattaya. A great place to stay by the way. Sunset was amazing, quaint down town area. Just make sure you time getting to ferry or you might have to wait two hours for the next ferry which was very inexpensive. If you do misss it there is a speed boat always available for 1,500 baht.
Excellent location, only 10 steps from the beach. Nice and quiet, stylish rooms, super clean.
There's a little shared balcony in the front for a smoke, and a cafe downstairs with great coffee, cakes and a small breakfast menu.
The room comes with an umbrella, beach flipflops, beach bag and beach towels.
You can use the beach chairs of Lima bar on the beach. We booked for 3 but ended up staying 5 nights. Would 100% recommended this place.
You cannot beat the location. Just steps from the beach! We enjoyed eating breakfast lunch and dinner on the beach every day. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods and my kids loved the pancakes and French toast.
The rooms were a good size and what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are in need of touch ups forsure but for the price and the location it was well worth it. We found all the staff helpful and kind.
I loved that it was right on the beach where you could lay in the bed and look out on the ocean’s beautiful blue green waters. The staff surprised me and my husband with a special balloon and towel message saying happy anniversary as it was our 32nd wedding anniversary. It really made our day! We loved having the balcony and bearing able to view the fire show that performed nightly at the resort right next to our on the beach.
Great large room with lovely views (I was on the top floor)
Right next to 2 711 and near the beach, so you don't need to worry about breakfast. Many restaurants and resorts on the beach.
This area is a ten min walk from pier and you have the bus stop nearby so you can explore the island easily. Definitely recommend.
Comfy beds and large shower room and massive balcony
Do require key deposit 500 but Definitely get it back
Location very good, beachfront location, unlike other places in Koh Samet,
Staff very helpful, very hardworking and cheerful.
This is the third time we have stayed here, as it is very good value for money, beachfront location and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant good, dining on the beach on the evenings, firs show and food and drink same as other similar places on the same beach.
Amazing hotel right on the beach with bar & restaurant. Good choices for breakfast, something for everyone.
Beanbags set up on beach for chilling in the daytime socking up the sun and watching the world go by with a sea view. Lovely clean beach and would definitely recommend staying here.
Hotel rooms are quirky as the bathroom is downstairs with bedrooms upstairs. Extremely clean & tidy :-)
The staff were amazing. Loved the free sunbeds were a great addition. Virtually on the beach with easy and close access to the bars and restaurants. Beds were really comfortable and the best part, as never seen before, if your room wasn’t cleaned you was left outside the room new amenities for the following day. Air con looked brand new.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The room was simple but very clean and comfortable.
It was right on the beach with a few great places to eat only a short walk away.
We made great use of the dartboard.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was superb, right on the beach, the pizzas were brilliant, & the bar was open until midnight (most other bars on the same beach close at 10:30pm).
