It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

Great location. Could walk everywhere and only need a tuktuk driver for one day to see monuments. Rocky was very helpful in organising a driver to pick me up from the train station in Hosapete. The room was very clean and the aircon was fantastic. Best is to wake up early and see everything before it gets too hot. Then sit in the room and cool off. Wifi worked great! Rocky helped organise laundry too. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Rocky even let me borrow his computer to do some data transfers. I stayed during Holi festival! It was amazing. Rocky even let me stay till my bus that left in the evening. Would recommend for convenience!

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
Rooms were really clean.. staffs extremely grounded and their hospitality is exceptional.. food was one of the best.. non veg items were really good.. a little on the spicy side ask for less spicy and they will make it accordingly. Kirthi is great serves you with a smile and makes u feel at home.. I would strongly recommend if u dont mind staying in a village ambiance. Ample parking space for 2 cars wifi available and rooms have Ac.. location a bit inside but not a big problem as the staffs would guide u to the place.
Taste of Hampi🤩
A very beautiful place to chill with friends and family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Taste of Hampi🤩.
Nice and clean accommodation.. Happy with hospitality. 🙂 The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great musical evenings. Awesome ambience and bonfire experience.
Special thanks to Venu Sir and team for arranging the tent at the last moment for us.🙏🏻
We left this place with lots of memories for a lifetime. Must visit this place for good vibes and crazy times!
Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at Banana Farm - being a little out of the bazaar area it was so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was lovely and home cooked. Our hosts Pampi and Sharuda were very warm and welcoming and arranged our transport to Hampi centre with Ravi who became our guide and went above and beyond to show us the best of Hampi, he was trustworthy and knowledgeable and having grown up in Hampi had a genuine sense of pride and joy in sharing it with us. We really enjoyed our stay at Banana Farm.
The Location is the best part because it's situated within a very well developed neat and clean township within hampi which has a club behind and very nice parks to recreation areas and a marble white temple, spacious and clean roads to walk on also very safe to walk around during night time. The other good part about the hotel is that they have villas which have a pool within and the swimming pool area is quite good and it has some lush greenery around which adds to the whole ambience.
Highly recommended place to stay in Hampi, infact i would say its the best! It is a proper house where owner and family lives at ground and provide room for guest at first floor. They actually make you feel at home. The services are really quick and upto the mark. They fulfill all your requirements even if it is out of way for them. Rooms are very beautiful, clean and hygenic. 2km away from the center it gives you a perfect gateway from the city life.
P.S : dnt miss the food here.
This home stay hotel is the best if you ever want to stay in Hampi. There are different games for you to play in this place. Safe for the family. The rooms are big. In this place you have scope to cultivate your art of painting. Tungabhadra River and Chintamani Temple are 100 meters from here. Enjoy a leisurely swim in the river here in the morning. Here Mr. Vishal is the manager. They speak in Hindi. They planned our trip very well. Definitely visit.
The room is very clean and comfortable beds.. one of the best place to stay and the food which is served by the owner of homestay is yummy. Over all gives a homely stay. The food is served on request basis. Best trip and stay i had in Hampi. I would recommend people to stay in this homestay. Vani the homestay owner looks after you for every need and takes care of you and guides about the place. Amazing place to stay.
This is a very comfortable Guest Inn to stay at. Mr Raju is a great host and makes a very good chai. The room is basic, no kettle etc, however is spacious and mosquito proof (essential for me). Across the road is the Italian Cafe which makes up for lack of room amenities. Great food and staff. Would recommend if you don't want to be on the hustle and bustle of Hampi.
We really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Shrinivas is a very good host and he was very much helpful in guiding us regarding Hampi sightseeing. All the facilities are on par with any high end hotel and its value for money. I also strongly recommend One Mr.Pampa auto driver who is too good and has very good knowledge about whole hampi. It was a homely atmosphere.
Great place to stay, hosted by Raghavendra and his family. Genuinely the best service that one can expect, went out of his way in helping me to get around Hampi.
The food was homemade and delicious.
Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Hampi.
Rooms are absolutely neat, all facilities are available over there. Owner is too supportive. Easy go place. I suggest to use this oppurtunity when u come to Hampi... Even calls during booking were received nicely.... Overall it was like My home... 😊😊
Exceptional property in every way. Staff are amazing. Rooms incredible. The hotel is modelled on a palace and is the best place I’ve ever stayed. this is a wonderful place to visit. Hampi is a must see and the Hotel , makes your visit extraordinary.
Food at first and stay was an amazing experience🫡 Really a good place to stay at hampi and all sites are very close from hotel place. They also have options for stay like Tents, Rooms and combine bonfire too.
The best location in Hampi & Anegundi. We went on a family trip and it was fantastic and Murali was there to help at any time, and I highly recommend everyone to stay here.
