The staff really went above and beyond for us- I arrived for a 1 year wedding anniversary getaway with a sick husband in tow (and not feeling great myself). They let us check into the room early (and gave us a late checkout as the room was not booked), had a little celebration for us waiting in the room, consistently asked about us everytime we walked through the lobby and even called me to check-in. We felt really cared for.
Location is great- the bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel, it is a very short walk to the waterfront and mall
I had read mix reviews about breakfast- it is not overly elaborate but everything was very tasty, that there was a good selection of fresh veg and salads, protein options ect. We were very happy and would happily eat it anytime

Israel’s tiny speck of Red Sea is squeezed between Eqypt (Taba) on one side and Jordan (Aqaba) on the other side. Eilat is a resort city for glamorous people lying on the beach and scuba divers under the sea who come together for superb sunsets and long, warm summer nights.
Many tourists use this 7 km stretch of land as a passage to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt or onwards to Petra in Jordan. However, if you stay, this glitzy destination provides relaxation all year round at its numerous luxury hotels and beaches. Coral Beach is the dive centre headquarters with its spectacular coral reefs.

The sparkling Gulf of Aqaba provides the perfect backdrop for local Israelis and international tourists to party into the wee hours. Festivals such as Red Sea Jazz and Red City during summer help to fuel the busy beach activities.

Very nice beach promenade, good for strolling around after dinner. Plenty of very nice hotels and restaurants around. There are a lot of trees and flowers in the city, one of these is the terminal park which is very close to the mall. The underwater observatory is a must-visit. We were blown away by it. You can see the mountains of four different countries from its rooftop. Spending a whole day there is recommended. The botanical garden is also pretty good, can be covered in an hour and a half with lots of nice photo opportunities. There are snorkeling etc. water activities, and a bird-watching park as well, but we did not get to visit those due to time constraints.

Eilat is growing exponentially.
Eilat is growing exponentially. It is located by the Red Sea, with Petra and the Jordan mountains next door. The mountains go from beige to purple and pink at sunset, a stunning view. The sea is warm and full of fish. People like the water sports there, though I like to lie by the pool. The weather is warm most of the year.

Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste.
Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste. Despite no VAT prices are high and the assortment in the shops is provincial. For decent beaches go South of Coral Beach or preferably to Taba Heights in Egypt.

Fun fun fun!
Israel's Las Vegas, without the gambling, but with coral reefs.
Something for the whole family.
The weather is (almost) always great (except in the heat of summer). Otherwise go indoors or into the water.

A great place for a couple, a big plus is that pets are allowed. The studio is small, but has everything you need, clean and comfortable. And a huge bonus is a gorgeous balcony with stunning views of the whole of Eilat, the sea and the mountains. You can fry meat on the balcony. The downside is the uncomfortable shower and poor drainage. But these are small things and do not spoil the overall impression. Excellent value for money. We will definitely come back! Thanks to the owner!

Eilat was is and will be our 1st choice for a family summer vacation. There are great beaches to spend the day, snorkeling swimming or just hanging around. Eilat has great attractions, great restuarants and great shopping centers.
Also, when it's not dead hot, you can base in Eilat to do great hikes in the lower parts of the Negev and Arava
Very clean and nice place. The stuff is very serviceable. The location is great! The hotel is placed in front of the central bus station, so if you come to Eilat with bus you don't have to worry about the bags :) The Melio Hotel is near to most places. 17 minutes to the Mul Hayam mall, 25 minutes to Eilat promenade. You have supermarket near by and 24/7 mini market 4 minutes walking behind the corner. Free coffee/tea/milk/cols water in the lobby.
Room service every morning and luggage storage service if you need.
Everything...!!!!, The Room was Amazing...The Breakfast was Fantastic. The Location was Perfect...!!!, The Hotel Manager Shirly was nothing short of EXTRAORDINARY..!!!! She was WONDERFUL..!!! I now know why this is the highest rated hotel in Eliat. Shirly took the time and stopped what she was doing to make sure my stay was Memorable. Shirly's care for her customers is GENIUNE...!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Herods Boutique. From the time I arrived until I left was FABULOUS..!!!
We came late in the evening and the receiptionist Ceci was smiling. We asked for a room which calmer and we got a room with beautiful view to the sea and Jordania was also seen. Although furniture is not new, but very good for the price ! The breakfast is really tasty and the rooms cleaned perfectly. After cleaning we each time found a plate with biscuits or chocolate in the room from the hotel. I can surely recomend it.
Location is great, 5 min from the city of Eilat and main beaches.
Great hospitality, the whole area around the hotel is beautiful, great views, easy to reach many attractions and restaurants within 2-20 min driving. Staff is friendly and happy to help. Place is pets friendly and our dog was very welcome!
Breakfast is good, 8/10.
Value for money = 10!
Very much recommended!
Our stay started really well with Sara who checked us in with a smile, very welcome after the long drive to Eilat. The room is larger than the regular hotel rooms in Israel and very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was tasty, fresh and had plenty of choice. The pool is really well set out and clean. Overall we had a very positive experience and will stay here again!
Thanks to the hotel staff and the reception who received me in the highest bar. I arrived in Eilat 13 hours before check-in. I was out at 8:30 and even though it was my fault that I was early, the hotel staff went to meet me and helped me a lot and gave me the option of checking in later. The place is beautiful and tidy and there is a situation where I will return
Abraham is made BY people FOR the people!

In the center of Eilat city with easy access to all.
We love everything about this hotel, the staff, the location, the food, the room, the price, it's perfect for us. No wonder why we go there 3 times a year :)
In fact, we like it so much I didn't want to give such a great review for fear it would lead to less availability and an increase in prices.
Perfect location, spacious and comfortable room with delicious sweet and frute plates every morning, nice beach, exelent food, 5 stars service - many special thanks to Nofar Solovey for personal approach. We definitely recommend Herods Palace for stay in Eilat.
The most special experience I have ever had in an Israeli hotel .service of staff was incredible and felt like family . Hard to find a hotel with such high quality standards but also makes a personal experience for each guest. Thank you Tal and Liran
I liked everything, a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and pools. Service is outstanding and the location is the best in Eilat, right next to the beach, mall and restaurants.
Cheap but has most facilities one could need when visiting Eilat. The pool and courtyard area is nice and it is only a walk away from the Promenade, shops and beaches.
Location is good, value for money (relatively to Eilat ofcourse) is ok.
Brown decor (i find it very stylish)
Bed is super comfy
Breakfast is good for boutique hotel
big hotel, looks really good on the outside but the inside is kinda out off dated.
we got a free upgrade for a bugger room with a sea view that was really nice.
The location of the hotel is perfect, near a lot of stores, restauants and the Azrieli Eilat, also near the public fountain who has shows on some days.
